It was a video of Glen’s reaction when she saw the newly installed shutters/blinds. “It looks fucking incredible” or something like that and then she jumped on Sly and wrapped her legs round him a bit - haha/vom . Not sure why he deleted it?!
What about the other way round - when you like things, try to save up for them, then see them all over instaland, then get turned off putting in your home?Folks, please don't feel guilt or shame for having a gallery wall or incorporating trends you like into your own home! There is nothing wrong with getting ideas from the internet and making them your own. There's an enormous difference between using popular ideas selectively in a way that's personal to you, compared to trying to pass off a never-ending stream of one instagram cliche after another as your own original style. Besides, a gallery wall or an ill-advised rug purchase is easily rectified if you change your mind. A whole house of wankery, not so much

Exactly this. It’s why he’s posting more on the HOH account than the FOD account and trying to frame himself as some kind of DIY on a budget guru. I think he’ll try and get his FOD followers over to the house account and even though he’s still appearing on it, the grid posts are person free. That way, any brands will see he’s got lots of followers and ‘reach’ but it won’t have the associations that his FOD account has IYSWIM.The funny thing is this content is actually the most genuinely interesting shit they’ve ever put out - like mixing high / low, DIY and some professional work, is actually how people live and curate an interesting home. I wouldn’t go as far as saying theirs is nice, but as they’re not being gifted every Insta fad going I’ll hazard a guess it won’t be as easily replicated by George at Asda in a year.

Yeah, it’s pissing me off a bit that he’s starting to lie about this stuff and pretend that they haven’t had half the ‘reno’ done for free in exchange for money or a mention on their accounts. Every other post on their feed was an ad at one point, and he was still at it just before he had his break, trying to get gold fixtures for the bathroom and the spindles on his stairs done for free.
