Actually, it’s illegal under COPPA to have kids account on social media. I have reported parents who have made accounts for their kids on Instagram. As of now, the law where parents make account is falls under gray area with social media. But it’s 100% illegal for others to have kids account in the name of adults. My spouse works actively to prevent child abuse across all online platforms. Trust me when I say - the government is still playing catch up & is atleat 100 years behind when it comes to laws.
