Same sex marriage is legal in Ireland. Most Irish people have moved on from the backwards religious views a long time ago!!
Yewande just came across like she didn't get the concept of going on love Island, its a dating show, you're only there for a couple of weeks, you need to understand that you have to be up for getting to know people quickly but she was there keeping the only fella who was interested in her at a distance and then she's shocked and annoyed when he goes off with another girl who actually wanted to get to know him

@AllSeeingEye123 Ireland definitely doesn't have a negative view on homosexuality. The previous Taoiseach (Leader of Ireland) was gay. He was Taoiseach for ages & ages.

Never seen Love Island but apparently she was credited for creating a phrase ‘fanny flutters’- funnily enough on the Australian Love Island that was out a year prior to Maura’s series one of their cast said it! Proves that it’s all scripted.

Not surprised, but a tiny bit disappointed I'll admit. I wanted them to be a genuine couple and work out (Christ, please can this bloody pandemic end already so I can get a life for myself?!?!) I seem to be in the minority but I really like Chris and thought they seemed a good fit... based on their personalities in the villa at least, maybe not so much with Maura's life now. All the professions of love and they're done 5 months later though?? I've had ingrown toenails last longer FFS
