I’ve thought about posting for a few days because this is slightly outing and I also feel like a bit of a hypocrite because my daughter is training to be a professional dancer now and danced professionally as a child.
But! I was never THAT dance mum. When my daughter got her first professional contact a like minded mum drew me aside and told me what a weird world I was getting involved with and wow it was true, mothers who ploughed their entire lives in to their daughters ‘careers’. It was like a hothouse and caused some actual casualties….one lovely little girl developed a psychological condition that meant she was wheelchair bound. It was as if she ‘shut down’ physically because of the pressure. Other kids who are now incredibly bitter that they were put down that route.
We always treated it as a bit of fun as a family and didn’t care either way. It just turned out our daughter loved it and does to this day. But it’s always been HERS, not mine or anyone else’s to bask in.
I think what I’m saying is, Louise needs to tread carefully and sympathetically. That poor little girl is under enough scrutiny as it is, dancing can be a brutal environment.

The thing I don’t understand about this new darcey Instagram account, is who the narrator is…. The handle is darcey Jane dancer… and sometimes you hear from darcey however most of the time the captions and posts are written by Louise. Like it’s her account and not Darceys. Understand of course that she has to monitor it as darcey is only a child. But feels a bit uneasy having a account that is all about your kid yet the parent is writing the narrative and it’s about them. Louise is getting a Chinese… who cares… why not say mummy is getting a Chinese or mummy and I are loving this dance week etc… I can’t be the only one weirded out by the account. It’s not darceys account. It’s an account Louise set up and is profiting from showcasing her.
So she has her insta, one for the cats, one for her house, one for Darcy and I assume she probably has a private insta too. She must be constantly taking photos, always planning what she can take a photo of. She must never live in the moment and always have her phone in hand, even around the house!
I agree it is BRUTAL! I can now take criticism like an absolute badass because I grew up on stage and we were always always told “if someone criticises you its because they want you to do better and that means they care about you”
It's a shame as I typically find kids like that obnoxious and annoying. My niece became that way and is a pain in the ass.
Omg if I see one more dance picture of Darcy im going to scream!! Why is her Instagram full of it?! Its so boring. This comes from me, a mum who has 2 girls and loves that they love gym and dance but im not going to bore the life out of everyone posting pictures ALL the time. Time to change it up Louise please. ENOUGH!!!
She probably has an insta for her god damn vajayjay too!
It's a shame as Darcy is a child but Louise posting a dance account of her opens her to criticism. Her form makes me cringe.

Louises new personality as a dance mum and now Darcey's account makes me uncomfortable, though I can't pinpoint exactly why. It makes Louise look attention grabby. I also think that since Darcey is so young, this is 100% something that should be private. Sure have a monitored account for friends and family if you must (I do this, most of my family live abroad and I have very private social media to share pics of my kids and life). I think this whole grooming Darcey to be a influencer, looking for the best photo ops and the most photogenic clothes can only end badly. Just let the girl enjoy her ballet.

I agree, in some ways I think she is new to this I should not criticise. But to post pictures of her everywhere screams that she should have good technique and it is just not the case
Say it LOUD this is the only reason she's latched onto this - dance moms and disney moms are fairly close in terms of the kind of target audience you can reach with pretty princess posed filtered content, but as she's got as much out of her original audience as she's ever going to get this is actually a genius move as there's definitely a market and its not one where she has to start from scratch... pity she's literally expanding her brand ie making her £££ off exploiting her minor childs hobby

Young girl dance instagram accts are very lucrative. See US-based family vloggers like the Labrants and the Foleys: their little girls' baby porn dancer accounts have millions of followers and a lot of engagement. A study was done in the last year or two which showed most of the audience to be middle-aged men 
Funny how the Instagram account is supposed to be for darcey… yet on the follower list.. the account is following all of Louise accounts. So her mum. But not her dad or devons accounts. You would think you would want to be following your dad and step mum too. Shows even more that it’s not an account for darcey. It’s an account for Louise. And that is just sad. Why does there need to be a separate account. Just gross. Take it down.
Oh no pearlie still lives with them didn’t you see Louise’s gruff recap of their reunion, that Pearlie “gave little to no shits” about seeing her dearest darling mother again.
Can you blame poor Pearl for giving no shits about her mother being back? All Louise does is complain about her, compare her to Darcy, and seemingly force Pearl to do activities she hates. Pearl probably had such a fun week with her dad doing all sorts of things she loves to do & didn’t have her mum telling her she’s not as good as her big sister.
I think this why is she buying all this stuff. My girls dance, (Alot) but most dance school s you wear graded uniform.... Relevant to the exam body you take.... And most dance schools I know even have their own hoodies/onesies etc with the school logo. So, she wouldn't be travelling to and from dance in anything else.
Any other dance mums who do the festival circuit around that area, will have to report on Louise's behaviour...... Do you think she will pull the adjudicator of she doesn't agree with the scoring
