Laura's liked Adam Frisbys latest post about his court case and commented on it. I thought she hated fast fashion, I wonder if she's trying to get a collab with them, if she does then she's really sold out.

And worded as if she knows him. Fishing for a collab!

Laura to me, is confused about what she is/ wants to do. If she's attempting to be an influencer, what is her USP? To me it appears she AF links clothes try ons to earn from the shared links, does a few ads and then takes issue when clothing ranges don't extend into the 30's or a solution to weightloss comes up. If Laura doesn't want to do something to lose weight, fine, but I don't think she should be talking about it whatsoever on her social media as she's not actively trying to lose or gain weight so leave that to the people on socials who are. I think her niche is sharing bigger sizing clothes and that's where it should end. Whatever she chats about on her podcast should stay off her own socials and stick to its own social page if it has one. Since she quit work, her online work is a mess - confused, comes across pissed off and generally angry. It's not pleasant to observe. She needs purpose and sticking to one direction.

I’d be really shocked if Laura worked with ITS, since she insists she only promotes stuff she genuinely loves.
And there’s absolutely no way she voluntarily wear any of the cheap looking tat from ITS.

Influencers don't care about any morals they had once the money starts coming in.

She claims to hate fast fashion but has promoted Simply Be and Sainsbury’s Tu which can’t be much of a step up ethically from In The Style, maybe worse for all we know.

I'm off out, have unfollowed and it's been brewing a long time. Just don't want to log onto Instagram and see her depressive moods anymore. And you know we all love it when people announce they are unfollowing so I just had to let you guys know ✌

I’m so close to it myself, plus not sure how much longer I’ll be listening to the podcast. Still a small part of me that wants to still follow/listen for some reason!

She just seems to have changed so much since giving up her job.
I’m not judging; we don’t know what other people are going through, and I’m not in a great place mentally myself so I’m not one to talk!
It’s just sometimes the stuff she moans about seems really petty and spoilt.
But I love seeing pics of Buddy so that keeps me following 😂

I wonder if she misses work - the socialisation, regular hours, even the monotony can be reassuring.

I really liked her on the bake off, but not sure she’s cut out for the full time influencer life

And walking 10k steps a day is useless so dont bother (in lauras world)

Try it Laura and see if its a 'marketing tool' or if it does have benefits to your body & mind.

I’ve just seen this and it’s really pissed me off, of course doing 10000 steps is better for your body than doing half that amount, any movement when you’re bigger is surely better? I understand the sentiment of what she’s saying, that it’s essentially an arbitrary number that was plucked out of thin air, but again she has just come off as someone who is so negative towards everything, and that’s something else she’ll use as an excuse not to move her body.
I’ve recently started to lose weight and move more, and part of that has been doing at least 10000 steps a day, it does help and was a great start to help me get my fitness levels back up. Eugh, she’s so bleeping annoying.

What relevance has Lauren's comment 'did a man come up with it!?' got to do with the figure of 10k steps. If a man said that on a podcast they'd be leaping down their throats saying how misogynistic they were! They really haven't a clue what they want their podcast to be about, I think they just want to moan and complain. Its actually exhausting being around people like that, never mind tuning in to listen voluntarily. They'd be better off going to the pub and privately ranting to each other over a glass of wine. I don't like the negative talk about exercise. Fine if they don't want to do it, but there are people who do and shouldnt be berated for that or subject to negative talk for wanting to better themselves. Utterly boring.
