I love how this thread has turned into a blog about the beauty of Italy (and dogs ♥). Maybe you guys should start an actual YouTube channel about life in Italy 😂
I am more of a cat person than a dog person but that dog is precious (incidentally one of my all time favourite words is gattara, just too perfect to have a word to basically describe me :ROFLMAO:) , totally agree about the youtube channel, sitting in my flat in rainy london I could do with the escapisim :ROFLMAO:

unsurprising tbh. even more dull than the chicken coops restoration. the reading of that book just seemed like the film/ad clips in other videos. she really just has lost ideas
She’s been floundering for ideas and formats for some time. They change continuously and her chameleon approach has to be tiring; first a Princess, then an Italian housewife, then a renovator, then a Portofino playgirl, then back to the kitchen again, counting the cost of salt in a meal for two.

Even for an effort to add a little culture, which, I agree with @nostoneunturned, is likely a subversive paid ad for the owner of the theatre, she brings along Guido to be chief cost accountant and his response to the charm of the little theatre is how much a sprinkler system would cost to install.

He is also summoned to give an estimate of the seating capacity, likely prompted prior to the question and he has a already answer; 90.

I still don’t know if the owner lives there or not. She certainly does everything she can to align herself with people with money.

Doesn’t the “wedding” seem like months ago? Not a word since.

I read some reviews, they are gushing as usual. I find it hard to believe that they are responses from real people.

unfortunately, taken on our comments about not including art/architecture/culture in her vlogs and made an awful mash up of art history and theory which only highlights her ignorance.
This is something I have become aware of over a period of time and really exposes her lack of a structured formal education. A classic case Kylie skips across the surface of art, the arts, for the effect affords. Kylie plays about with the effects, ‘smoke and mirrors‘🪞 filters and props.
Without having viewed the latest bit of video lint, I venture to suggest the theatre is a place ( backdrop/prop) where she could pan across the features of it, capture some nicely lit moments and pick out some props …a chaise, a piano, glasses and a diary. 📕 Little props that present as “culture” , the kind you might use in a 30 seconds ( Rouje dress ad) tv commercial or toob flog in order to suck in the real money grab . As said I have yet to watch the thing . I wonder if she uses these flogs to leverage work for herself making in house clips for hotels etc ? I don’t know when I’ll watch it I’m not sure I want to take on the irritation it will no doubt cause me and ruin my Sunday

I was dazzled by Damien Hirst's Cherry Blossoms which opened at the Fondation Cartier pour l'art
DH is a master at the ol razzle dazzle

What is that cinematic drink in her hand?
She really DOES think she’s a STAR, doesn’t she ! And notice how she has the view of Portofino through the window and she BLOCKS it with HERSELF !

What exactly is wrong with this girl ! Well, we know, she’s a self absorbed, entitled narcissist. Doesn’t she get it why we laugh and want to explode at the same time ?!

I’m just laughing now how ridiculous she is. She just can’t stand to be out of the limelight.

Ok, did one of you write this? Lol. They are asking when she will post showing a museum, historical residence or inside a church. They go on to say Kylie's personal life has been shown to excess already, to change topics and , in short, now that she's married to be more discreet.

Also, my personal opinion on the 7 hr editing...I think she mistakenly wrote 12pm instead of 12am Italy time. 12pm on a Friday makes zero sense for those crucial first views and likes. That would be 6am Eastern US, 3am West coast. She has always catered to her north american subs. Midnight in Italy would get her much more "traffic." I know I am highly cynical but her "I need 7 hours" was oddly specific.

@Denise0211 So now we have Home Economics KyLie with a €2.95 chicken dinner and the prices of garlic per kilo etc throughout🙄 Is this once more to purloin the Patreon’s purse?! Is she aiming to bore the Tatlers into submission?

Midriff and lip-biting both on display - for our benefit I wonder? She is nothing if not an attention seeking provocateur🤦🏼‍♂️

She’s back in the flat, so where are the rest of the Freeloading Flavells? Have the parents been left in the chicken coop to pootle about in the Panda at the “farm”...?

Umm, this commenter from earlier on her Instagram apparently continued writing. It has taken a turn. At this point I find it hilarious. What the hell is that?! How did it turn 180 so fast?? It’s as if she threatened him to write words of cult like worship for compensation. Otherwise she’d delete the comment 😂 So much for the Tuscan order, he thinks she is warm, charming and great.

“As interesting as watching paint dry“ is literally the theme of Kylie’s new vlog🤦🏼‍♂️ What a pointless exercise. Why recreate your bathroom stencils on a canoe? 😅 What an ego she has to expect people to watch this boring stuff! It all seemed to be about showing off: her amateur painting, speaking in her odd Italian, the digression into a pre-pandemic picnic with G, the neighbours’ watermelon and bread at the end...

It’s quite funny watching how she has taken on this new softly-spoken and demure persona (all that looking down @emm 🙄) for Guido and also is now taking on a strange Tuscan intonation when she speaks Italian. She is becoming even more of a simulacra of a simulacra of a KyLie that never existed🧐
[/Q[/QUOTE
I don't think that she has any idea what to vlog. She's all comfy on the country estate, bulging purse splitting at the seams, hanging with Gweeds and daddy. I mean what does Kylie actually do when she's not filming herself? She doesn't seem to have any interests other than showcasing Kylie version 3.2 ,or whatever we are up to now, once a week to her little community of diehard fans. I think she is as bored as us.

I am glad that you find her Italian odd, @Antonio, I was wondering how it must sound to an Italian. I find it incredibly irritating that she insists on speaking Italian as though she's doing her subs a favour...helping them learn the language, or appeasing the Italian speaking followers, of which I am sure she has pochi, when she is only doing it to show off. However it comes across as very unnatural imo but then that actually also applies when she speaks English

Yes @emm and @Denise0211 she seems super awkward and her stance is weird. For someone who claims to have a been a tv host it's interesting that she appears stiff and as though she is trying really hard to seem relaxed and as though she is having a great time.

This latest "Restoring a Palazzo" video has less than 30K views. I know if only came out a day ago, but this is a huge drop from her previous ones.

@Denise0211

Holiday Inn prices

Does this mean she won’t be begging for money anymore or telling us how difficult her l work is ?

Or, since she was an “editor” of a third rate magazine she will no longer “marvel at the historic printing press and the concept of international newspapers being accessible all over the world” ? What a concept !

I spent a week in Portofino on a timeshare trade, just below Splendido and another week in Santa Margherita at a small B&B with fantastic views. I recall the timeshare cost about $200 for the week; 7 days, not 4 !
@Denise0211 @Jerry KyLie never lets up does she with her claim of being an “editor“ ?!! As if she spent her career at a national newspaper or an important publishing house when she just spent a couple of years putting out a publication for a casino to attract the high-rollers that have since sent the management to jail for fraud and corruption and the casino into bankruptcy🙄

Good evening,

It’s getting quiet on the thread. I have just returned from dinner at a Thai restaurant in downtown Doha with a lovely Bulgarian lady, a friend and the Head of Archives and manuscripts at Qatar National Library. We sat at the top of a high-rise hotel, contemplating the city below and talking about life. I told her about this group and how Kylie brought us together. She then wanted to see Kylie, so we sat and watched Pizza-Gate for fun. My associate was profoundly amused and picked up on the sexualisation of it all immediately and made rather a mischievous comment which I will not repeat here. She returns to Bulgaria at the weekend, but maybe I can show her the toilet brush episode when we reconvene for supper, though if the restrictions in Italy should improve, I hope to be in Venice by the time she returns. It was interesting to get her take on the Flavell videos. Without prompting, her response was similar to ours.

I am deeply grateful to Qatar National Library as it paid for open access to my rhino article, and I’m getting so many hits. I was beside myself with joy today as I was approached by a Dutch academic who has done a fantastic amount of work on the rhino, including a database of over 13,000 references to rhino publications published between 1500 to the present day. Mine will join it. He’s writing a book on the history of the rhinoceros in South Asia. Included is a chapter on Mughal emperors and the rhinoceros. He has written about a painting in our museum’s collection so is requesting image copyright and has sent me his chapter for comments.
.

I hope you are having a lovely evening.

A domani tutti.

This conversation has taken a very creative turn. I’m here for the sass you all serve. 😂😂😂 It is many times more entertaining than K last videos for sure. And the painting analogy is chef’s kiss.

Yes @Socratestrap and @PlinyinTorquay I too concur that "not all contemporary art is bad..." In fact I am quite a fan of a lot of contemporary art and find Kylie's comments naive and ignorant and as though she has found them on a quick google search much like a struggling high school student might do to complete their compare/contrast assignment. Not all contemporary art is "cold, conceptual, made of utilitarian materials blah, blah blah" Dear Kylie please do not pretend that you actually know anything about art, it's embarrassing.
