I agree it looks nice but it is just the kind of thing someone who has no other responsibilties has the time for. I couldn't believe how many patreons she hasGoing into the video all I could think was: "Who TF paints a kayak?" But I have to be honest, it actually looks really nice. K herself is still ridiculous tho, and the video is weird. #endofdispatchfromflavellland
You piqued my interest so I FF through. Why she is wearing a flowey and floral dress to present this work is beyond me. As you mentioned she seems awkward overall. And who cares when they bought the kayak...pre covid or whenever.I’m watching out of boredom. Her demeaned is so odd, she spends most of the time talking to camera looking at the floor, she doesn’t seem happy and I am finding the dynamic between them increasingly strained, at one point she asks him when they got the kyack, he says last year (or something, I was hardly paying attention) and she asks no what mese? as if anyone (him included cares). It is so funny hearing the conversation between her and her dad, he has a very strong australian accent, obviously totally different from hers.
She is still claiming that garden party they had was her church wedding
Sorry me too. I feel I should quit but there are a few people I’d like to say au revoir to and Tattle doesn’t allow it.Must stop as I'm writing pages of thread with little or no ref to KF
I actually thought that was a joke there is another thread I usedto follow and at thestart of each new one they post (as a spolier) allthe in jokes/terms etc. we could do that"ORGANIC BERRY EATING TREK"
What pompous piffle on a par with her 'international bridesmaids'. Think we should compile a Flavell glossary asap.
No sense of irony whatsoever -God she must be so much fun to be around. Why can't we see Guido on his horse or summit??
I think there’s also cream, refrigerated. There must be alot of gelatine in the yoghurt to make it firm or is it a semi- freddo?
Thank-you @Spirit of place @PlinyinTorquay for wishing me buon onomastico, as I’m from the south we celebrate on January 17th for San Antonio Abate, who is one of the most beloved saints in Campania (and one of the most interesting as an early ascetic in Egypt). There are two paintings of him in one of my favourite little churches in Rome, near where I live. How many St. Anthonys are there? I'm confused. Just looked it up in The Catholic Encyclopaedia and can find two. St. A. of Padua, which I knew because of the Santo in Padua , and St. Anthony the Great with a Feast Day in January, so is there another? EDIT Just seen a list in Wiki. there are quite a lot!
@Spirit of place a spoof paper on fish might be fun. Am a tad concerned, though .... from Pulcinella to Pachyderm to Pesce ... is this the sign of a versatile intellect or Jack of all trades and master of none? A bit like K. with her many specialisms.
I don't think that she has any idea what to vlog. She's all comfy on the country estate, bulging purse splitting at the seams, hanging with Gweeds and daddy. I mean what does Kylie actually do when she's not filming herself? She doesn't seem to have any interests other than showcasing Kylie version 3.2 ,or whatever we are up to now, once a week to her little community of diehard fans. I think she is as bored as us.“As interesting as watching paint dry“ is literally the theme of Kylie’s new vlog What a pointless exercise. Why recreate your bathroom stencils on a canoe? What an ego she has to expect people to watch this boring stuff! It all seemed to be about showing off: her amateur painting, speaking in her odd Italian, the digression into a pre-pandemic picnic with G, the neighbours’ watermelon and bread at the end...
It’s quite funny watching how she has taken on this new softly-spoken and demure persona (all that looking down @emm ) for Guido and also is now taking on a strange Tuscan intonation when she speaks Italian. She is becoming even more of a simulacra of a simulacra of a KyLie that never existed

@Rina Valtellina Yes, I really don't wish to watch somebody paint a kayak so I won't. Trouble is, I have nothing on-topic to contribute.I think she is as bored as us.
you can edit but only for a couple of minutes after postingDear all, I have been following your discussions of art, Italy, travel and culture with great interest and have decided to join! I, too, am a refugee from the Kylie Klogs and could not believe I was the only one who thought her pretensions and view of Italy were often preposterous. Thank-you for the collegiate tone of the debates and the insights into the real K. I think she is trying to bore us into extinction but keep going as the journey and digressions along the way are more interesting than her as the destination!
Can you add or edit your post or does it just repeat like mine above?
HOWEVER ...@Felicitas ... Flaming June, Sir Frederic Leighton.

@Antonio, St Ivo is one of my favourite churches in Rome.one of my favourite little churches in Rome, near where I live.
I'm Catholic but crap at remembering them. My ex was Francesco...everyone assumed after Assisi, but rather di Paola in Calabria. I enjoyed visiting that church overlooking the sea.Thank-you @Spirit of place @PlinyinTorquay for wishing me buon onomastico, as I’m from the south we celebrate on January 17th for San Antonio Abate, who is one of the most beloved saints in Campania (and one of the most interesting as an early ascetic in Egypt). I enjoyed your piece on William Hoare @PlinyinTorquay and how he studied in Italy for nine years under Pompeo Batoni in Rome, one of the most personable portraitists of aristocrats on the Grand Tour. I pass the house where he lived in Via Bocca di Leone 25 every day. The Venetian artist Rosalba Carriera is wonderful, her subtle pastel portraits are brilliantly expressive and full of feeling.
