also correct me if I'm wrong as I'm based in the uk and we've had many lockdowns since 2020....
but I'm pretty sure Florida also had at least one major lockdown?? the way after only 3 days of "quarantine" Kyle is acting like its the end of the world is just hilarious and surely just for sympathy

I also strangely appreciate that at least Jojo was honest in his vlog about what they were up to.... instead of making us all feel sorry for him like Kyle did!

Sounds like he's terrified about it getting more publicity. Jojo has his copy-paste victim speech written, he updated today's response to say that now it's ok because they only have to quarantine for 5 days. It wasn't when you did it, dumbass!
Jojo's only tolerable when he's not making videos at all. I can't stand 5 seconds of his annoying voice. HELLO!
You're right he was honest but only because he is too stupid to realise socialising with five other people including three he doesn't live with isn't isolating.
And now he's trying to excuse it by trying to retroactively apply new guidelines to what they did.
But I suppose even that is preferable to Kyle's ongoing refusal to admit there even was an event that he attended, despite the fact a photograph of him there was posted on the 25th.

He's deleting and blocking anyone that mentions him not isolating but partying on the 25th. His strategy is to pretend there was no party or that it wasn't a party or that he wasn't there. He's not man enough to admit he lied and apologize.
It's exactly the same bullshit that Boris Johnson has been using.

This right here? Pisses me off so much more than even the breaking quarantine.
Like--while I find his decision to go to Cat's jaw-droppingly stupid after we've been living like this for almost two years--I can believe it was a dumb mistake on his part. But now he's willfully shutting down conversation because he doesn't want to face any backlash. And that's why, I think. It's not even about the grift, at least not primarily. He can't, or won't, face up to the fact that he did a bad thing.
I watched people die of COVID. I had to have a conversation of DNR orders with a patient younger than me because his labs indicated that he was about to get VERY sick. I nearly burst into tears in front of a patient, who was scared and alone, who told me that he prayed every day to ask God to protect his doctors. And I had nightmares about hearing "Code Blue! Code Blue! Code Blue!" over and over and over.
I could forgive Kyle making a mistake. I can't forgive him refusing to even consider people who point it out, and being so vicious when they do.
I am in total agreement with you.
The worst of it for me is that he let people who care about his health worry about him being sick, immunocompromised and in isolation over Xmas whilst he wasn't isolated at all. Then when they express concern over him risking his life he reacts with contempt, denial and stonewalling.
He has behaved like this towards me on a previous occasion over another issue and now he is doing it to others.
It is undeserved and unforgivable.
Let's see how long this lasts.
I think the silver play button has gone to his head and when he got COVID he saw it as an opportunity to make sympathy dollars in a livestream. He backed down when he realised how that would make him look. But I don't think he considered the emotional impact it would have on people who care about him. They're just an asset to strip as he pursues his goals.
Then the party thing exploded which he didn't expect because he didn't think a photograph of him breaking isolation would end up online. And he is now desperately trying to put out the fire which is beyond his control without realising that all it would have taken is an honest apology.
If he apologizes now it will be seen as fake and only made to save face.
I was on Kyle's Patreon also gave him the benefit of the doubt. I considered sending him gifts and super chats but I never did. I knew deep down what he was but I guess I was mesmerized by his hairy chest. On his Patreon he was supposed to have monthly live streams with members he only had one or two all year. When things weren't going well on his channel he would say he wasn't feeling well and had to may have to take a break. He would get 30 or more comments telling him how wonderful he was and he would rarely respond. These are people giving you money every month and he couldn't even respond. If you noticed his "random" shouts outs were usually to people what gave him the most gifts. One in particular who sponsored at least one of the cruises would get a lot of shout outs. I was really hoping in yesterday's vlog he would have admitted what he did even if he said he was delirious from being sick and didn't know what he was doing. I guess as Kyle would say "it's all about the money baby".
He rarely responds to anything. His excuse is he's too busy working.
Meanwhile, he spends all night playing Halo.
I think his channel is like a form of gambling addiction to him. Making a video is like rushing out to a fruit machine. Uploading it is pulling the lever. Wait for the views counter to start spinning and yay, jackpot, or boo, not a winner. He'll stick around answering comments for ten minutes but he's already in the park, off he goes to fuel his addiction once again.
His supporters aren't people with lives and emotions, who genuinely care about him. They're just his high score.
Absolutely disgusting that he couldn't even grant his Patreon members what he promises them!!!
a lot of people hate on vloggers with Patreons but I personally don't mind them as long as they give viewers decent rewards and whatnot
at the end of the day no one is forcing anyone to become a member.....
But to not even be able to give your Patreons the basic rewards they've signed up for is frankly disgusting and just money grabbing!
