Can I ask re the legal aspect? I know it was gone into detail yersterday but my brain is all over the place.

If Katie or anyone else for that matter decides not to go ahead with prosecution, how is that seen? Is it possible or doable? Is it their choice? Could it be seen as wasting police time and could you be done for that?

Would the police still have a duty to investigate fully the case or because it’s dropped would the matter be over, ie filed away no further action?

If said person wants case dropped and another incident occurs later, could that make it more difficult to be believed?

Like everyone else has said if she refuses to co-operate that won't make a difference. The police/CPS changed the way they deal with domestic violence cases, due to cases where victims called the police dozens of times and then withdrew their statement (through coercion or just changing their mind)...only to end up dead down the line. It's taken very seriously these days. Plus assault is fairly easy to prosecute, they will simply use her initial statement to police as her testimony. We don't know what Carl's background is, has he ever been arrested for a violent crime? That'll make a difference.

I could see it being dropped if her legal team are able to prove it's not in the public's interest to prosecute, she could try to argue for this l, especially if they get back together. Here she could use fame and her mental health to her advantage.

Regardless of all things she's opened a can of worms for herself now, Social Services, her reputation now she's on good terms with Channel 4/the BBC. That's why she rushed to make herself appear as a victim. The alternative is they find out she was drinking or back on drugs and then she'll be blacklisted again.

Unquote. Beefing up security at Wanky's home - I don't think so. What a load of rubbish. If she is continuing with the case then I doubt very much that she will be staying there.

In between washing and feeding the cat, I’ve just read a post on The Argus. It says Katie has several stitches in a wound above the eye, a fractured cheekbone and one of the pins in her feet has been damaged will require further lengthy surgery.

Do people use wooden or plastic clothes pegs? I had a load of plastic ones keep snapping as soon as I touched them.

There was a 2nd story on KB's instagram which was also interesting, had a lady in white lingerie, said something like she got ready quickly to go out, so that makes her wifey material. ...... So he's hinting he has a partner/girlfriend and there is no vacancy

I guess the paps are there in case he is the "friend" she is staying with, as he was so supportive over her accident previously. I'm very sure he isn't involved or more importantly about to get involved ever again there. Once bitten and all that.

Feeling like I can't believe the damage to the feet claims. I have some metal work in my arm after surgery, after a year she would be healed pretty well 90% at least by my experience and it would take a huge amount of force to damage bits of titanium.

As someone who is trained in Makaton, I don't recognise Crawl's hand gesture as anything significant. I see someone who is right handed, showing they are right handed? Her bruise caused by "alleged punch' would surely have been done by a leftie?
As she also clearly knows nothing in Makaton he would be wasting his time in trying to send a message .
The only time I have ever heard her even acknowledge Harvey's use of Makaton was in the ME ME ME ME & Harvey documentary. Harvey was talking with his friend Zach & she said something like "oh Harv, you're using your language/sign".
I have noticed Harvey using Makaton on many occasions. She completely ignores it. It was used in the documentary by those working in the college. I actually cannot fathom how, in 19 years, she has clearly made no effort to learn how to aid his communication. BUT she's such a GREAT mum

Everyone in showbiz circles must know what she is really like. That includes the people that interview her. Why do they all suck up her arse all the time and not ask her real questions. Mum of the year, my arse.

I think she's well-liked by her media peers. She's been around for decades and has lots of friends in the industry. They look after each other, and I think for that reason no one has really gone after her.

And we have to remember, nothing we read or hear is 'real', in the sense that stories are selected by how interesting they are and what benefits the outlet. The BBC making a documentary about the experiences of a vulnerable young adult when she poses such a safeguarding risk is sadly comical, but it makes a better story (and makes them look good) compared to exposing her for all the bad things she has done.

The new story about her beefing up security at home makes me think again it isn’t Carl. Why would she need to up her security if it was him? His bail conditions wouldn’t allow him anywhere near her or where she’s staying and he would be arrested and remanded in custody immediately if he broke those conditions.

Perhaps if she got the dog she’s got locked up at Harvey’s house (you know the one she got to protect her ) she wouldn’t need to get more security. More money going to something that’s not her creditors.
