You cannot take evidence for a crime which is not connected to the crime you are investigating. The rules around evidence are very specific.

There have been numerous cases which collapsed because evidence has not been gathered as per evidence rules.

This rings a vague bell about the Halliwell murder in Swindon. What is your background Minty, are you connected to the law?

It doesnt work like that in UK court system ... that will not wash ... not if she is charged with breach of her suspended sentence

If you had a Daughter who had been through that, would you be pushing or even ok with her doing that? I know I wouldn't, I'd do everything in my power to stop her and help her. Try to get her off to a college or into a job.

Which is why I struggle to see why folk think her family should step in? They've never done it before, they certainly won't now.

Her fame is what probably bought them all their homes and lifestyles. All paid for by hanging on her coat-tails when she was earning.

You talk as though treatment is a magic bullet, it's not. It's a long process based on the 12 Steps which start with an acknowledgement that you (the person in treatment) are powerless against your addiction and that your life is unmanageable. KP has never reached that stage and without it all the rest is merely paying lip service. You have to hit rock bottom, corny as that sounds, and if you've never experienced it you won't be able to really know what it's like. So far her enablers have always prevented her hitting rock bottom and by so doing have deprived her of reaching this necessary understanding.

She has publicly stated that she is not an addict...

Oh ageee with the Sharon Stone Casino comparison. I also think she is very similar to Joe Exotic. She attracts vulnerable people who are dazzled by her and she then takes advantage of them. Other similarities are the animal abuse and the fact she is heading to jail.
