Just came on here to say that yous are my people. I’m in a dark place with PND (not looking for any sympathy like Kate the beg!!) and this thread cheers me up every time.
I’m so glad others opened my eyes to social media super mums, whilst I still feel like a failure in many ways, you guys really made me see the light.

Kate is a nasty person, she thrives off making other people (mainly mums and their parenting) feel inferior because it gives her the attention and validation she so desperately seeks. She is a very unhappy and insecure person deep down who lives her life for the gram, the amount of likes she receives and comments about how amazing a mum she is. A true narcissist hiding behind a fake persona and fake, catfish pictures of herself. I try my hardest to be a kind person, but to this woman, I physically cannot think of one kind thing to say about her.

Firstly, and most importantly I hope you are getting loads of support and love from those around you. PND is rubbish but it's really treatable and if your bespoke is under 1yr you get priority therapy so if you haven't checked that out, be sure you do!

Secondly, KH tells the most gigantic whoppers. I really don't understand why she does it. The constant harping on about Oluv being petite, perfect, talented, eats everything etc. is nauseating. My bespoke was an absolute nightmare from Day 1. She was a mardy mare, didn't sleep, had tantrums, refused all healthy food at just over 12 months and was just about the most headstrong wilful little shit in the world. I often felt like a failure next to my friends who had dreamy perfect babies but she's 19 now and we're the best of friends and she's off to medical school this year. Don't let anyone get you down. There was one girl in my ante natal who was just like Kate and we all hated her and (I'm sorry to say) we didn't like the child either as you could see her mother's smugness rubbing off. I am 100% sure you are an amazing loving mum doing just great. Never compare your baba to anyone else's. They are all individuals, develop at different rates and have different talents. Anyone who tells you different is a sociopath or a narcissist and you need to just nod and smile at them as they are very small people x

As if she’s labelled everything like that. I went away for work a few times in my previous job and unbelievably my husband managed to dress and feed the kids the whole time I wasn’t there.
