Also, I have been researching youtube lately for my job and so many youtube experts (who have big channels) say don't go overboard on the 'like and subscribe' comments as everyone knows how it works these days. Many say don't even bother but if you do you do ot casually and once.

You certainly don't do whiney posts begging for views.

Clearly people hinting at buying subs has him shook. He almost comes off "guilty" by the way he handles this topic.

Begging is not how you get new followers or how you get people to watch. See Kyle's attempt to get people to like and subscribe.

He'll never get his average view count above 20K viewers if he continues to put no effort and time into research and planning his videos.

Right now the only Disney vloggers seeing consistent or stronger engagement than they were a few months ago are PMM and The Mammoth Club. What sets them apart from the others?
  • The content they make is focused on the theme park or topic of interest, and they provide a good amount of helpful details to the satisfaction of their viewers. They don't bore and annoy the viewer for the first 15 minutes of the video with their obnoxious personality before talking about the topic they have in the video for 90 seconds.
  • The personality they show is fun and relatable. Molly is a Disney and Harry Potter nerd; her viewers love that about her. Nate is a gluttonous sugar addict and his strange viewers love to see him enjoy himself, regardless of how it impacts his health. Jojo doesn't have a passion for Disney, he just has a "passion" for trying to get fame while doing the minimal amount of work. 95% of TikTok creators are as well, but many of them also understand that they need to make it relatable to the interest of their viewers to legitimately grow an audience.
  • Nobody cares about the sword and the stone or galaxy's edge enough to be a long time viewer for his longer vlogs. Congrats on getting a ton of views from some of these videos but overdoing the joke is just a waste of time and shows people how much creativity you lack.

The only way Jojo will ever grow a legitimate following for longer form vlogs is if he gets off his ass and finds a passion that's relatable to a lot of viewers and fun to watch. Unfortunately the passion that he does have for sleeping all day, playing fortnite, partying all night and feeling sorry for himself relates to an audience that doesn't care at all about watching long YouTube videos. The only consistent viewers he has are ones that can't let go from his DCP vlogs and "friendship" with Kyle which was never about their "passion for Disney" in the first place.

Jojo is like an MTV presenter from the 90s/early 00s and very few people like that style of presenting.

His desperation and ego reek in every vlog.

As has been said, his channel lacks focus. His narc tendencies means the attention always has to be on him rather than what he is showing. His channel is a personality channel rather than a disney/travel channel

Recently he has been coming off more and more entitled and it seems like he isn't "hiding his ego" very well. What people fail (or just don't see) in his videos is his actual personality. The one that cuts lines, calls in favors and preys on younger CM and DCP employees to get what he wants.

His ego and entitlement shows in how he hogs attractions and now seems to claim ownership of the sword in the stone.

His gift giving and 'random acts of kindness' are anything but and deeply problematic.

AND now we are back on the Virgin cruise with todays video. That's another problem, the narrative of his videos is all over the place. If you want people to follow you then post one trip at a time in order that they can follow and immerse themselves in

Glad someone else sees this and said something. His "acts of kindness" are nothing more than a fake stunt to get views.

Thing is tiktokers who do similar have been called out numerous times, even in national press. You'd think he would know by now it's not a good look.

Who the duck is gonna want to click on that
His thumbnails have always been appaling, but because he thinks he knows it all he doesn't see anything wrong. Even compared to other disney vloggers his thumbnails are amateur hour

His thumbnails are this way because he thinks he is hotter than the sun and that (young) women will automatically click on the video.

His level of disorganization and poor planning blows my mind.
I actually think he may just not be very bright!

I mean...how can he think this will intrigue anyone to watch. The title says nothing and the thumbnail doesn't either. You'd never know its cruise related.

Yes you need an element of clickbait to get views, you need to intrigue the viewer. But you can't just lie, or in this case, provide zero context whatsoever.
