So when I first read the donation thing, my thoughts on it were that they divorced, she got money from that (maybe felt she didn't want any single thing from him, as she is an independent woman) and therefore made it very clear it would hit her bank and bounce (in full) straight back out and onto 2 charities.
In principal that sounded a decent thing to do. It implied she wasn't just a money grabber, she took nothing.
Then it has changed back and forth several times and I began to wonder a timeline and how that would affect this. For example, JD was having money issues (something like a large chunk of money went missing from him and he had court action to try and retrieve it, not sure if he won that?).
Did that leave him "short" on available cash? So rich on paper, but not actual dollar bills in the bank so to speak
Did he then have a pay here and there agreement with AH - therefore leaving her without a large amount in full and she then "fumbled" about herself to pay the charity, having announced that was her intention?
Or, did he pay her in full $7 million and she's left that in her bank, only sending a drop over to start the ball rolling, JD's made a payment so he doesn't get dragged into the non-payment and get blamed and Elon has sent some as he's dating her by then and doesn't want anyone thinking badly of his girlfriend, so he gives an "advance" on her money to come in her name to save blushes or bad publicity
