God he's just an absolute scruffy clampet
What do you mean? He’s the nations P.E teacher. He has to do these things from the goodness of his heartIf he loves spending time with his family so much, why the duck is he always away from them galavanting around the UK in fancy hotels? He has so much money that he could retire tomorrow and spend every waking minute with his family (and do us all a favour in the process).
But he doesn't because he thrives off the engagement of his crappy posts, loves the attention from his adoring fans and honestly couldn't handle more than a full day of normal parenting anyway! Either that or Dozie sends him packing as often as possible so she doesn't have to put up with the annoying twit either!
personally I think he’s made the crappy childhood thing up (or at least heavily exaggerated it) to be honest, only so he can be like ‘look how successful I am despite my drug addict parents!’He doesn't half romanticise his childhood, my god.
Screaming and shouting and a parent using heroin is not normal Joe. It's definitely not inspirational. It's great that he has a relationship with his parents now and they are obviously in a better place but it's not a great idea to keep going on about it like it was normal. It would warrant a child protection referral.
This post should be at the start of every Joe Wicks thread. It’s all just him drumming up business isn’t it. “I’m like you, you poor, fat, lazy bastard who can’t control him/herself - but here’s what I do after I eat £15 worth of convenience food - I get on my plan and I get bang tidy, you could too, you could pay me money while you fail to lose weight on my plan because I’ll keep telling you this binge restrict cycle is normal, because I’m doing it too. So buy my plan and eat tit then restrict yourself because I tell you carbs are bad, and you need to earn your food. Buy my plan. I love you, I love your money.”
The weird love bombing in that story “I love you, I love who you are” omg he should be warning his daughters about the people in their lives who will do this to them. It’s creepy AF. He must be on something to write that.
ThisI feel like he's missed the point of why UPF are so popular. I'm sure he'll manage to go shopping and feed his family for a week on £100 with freshly cooked meals and fresh ingredients. duck me, we all could I'm sure
BUT we don't all have 2 adults at home most of the time to cook with fresh ingredients. Or homeschooled children with, it seems, absolutely no hobbies apart from whatever Joe's manic mind has decided they will all 'smash' this week.
Most of us have jobs we have to go to most of the week with early starts and late finishes.
We have children at nursery or school, with numerous clubs like rainbows, football, dance, swimming etc that have to be fitted in during the evening, (usually numerous days with differing start and finish times in a variety of locations obviously)
We have household jobs to keep on top of too - we don't all live in a tit pit 24/7 like Joe.
Add into that various illnesses that people suffer with and the appointments involved with those or elderly/infirm parents that need caring for.
Oh and we have to try and hold down some fragments of a social life.
All that and more is why people rely on UPF!!
Do your shopping Joe, but you live a privileged life and you'll still fall off the wagon in a few weeks. You absolutely cannot preach to any of us about this
But how much does 7 days of stir fry cost?I dunno, I think he'll struggle anyway for a week's family meals with low/no UPF for £100. He wasn't clear if that was evening meals only, but if £100 is the weekly budget that will need to cover all meals.
No sliced bread, no ready made sauces, no BBQ sauce in your grim spag bol FFS, and no using expensive items you already have in your pantry only what the £100 got you.
No margarine or spreads, the butter and low processed oil alone will set you back £5+.
It's yet another band wagon he's jumped on, remember his 5 minute fad with menopause, then gut health? Now it's UPF. Reckon he's desperate to try and stay relevant.
He absolutely will struggle. I think he mentioned three meals a day when he was talking about it.I dunno, I think he'll struggle anyway for a week's family meals with low/no UPF for £100.
