I remember him saying he eats very slowly because he has a fear of choking on food.
I just think it’s di’s banter. In her way it’s affectionate, a nickname. she clearly loves him and I guess subconsciously she mothers him (a lot of women do this in relationships, it’s natural) maybe that’s where the praise on eating comes from.
I don’t see any eating habits that would be a concern at all.

Did we figure out why she called him that? I think we had this conversation not to long ago. The nickname makes me cringe but whatever floats their boat. Was it not something to do with strictly and they called Johannes ‘big jo’ and then Joe ‘little Joe’?
Don't worry this seems to happen every 6 months but it eventually goes back to mainly mocking them. Once his fans can find out where they live they'll go.
I agree and think they both have an unhealthy relationship with food. I think lockdown has caused Dianne to exercise more because she's not dancing and think going vegetarian means she's not getting enough protein. Joe's always shown to eat tit and I can imagine he's probably massively encouraging Dianne to mother him so she'll do everything for him. I noticed in his vlog and stories she's the main one packing, unpacking and cutting that hedge down while he films. Either that or he's got a bit of a mother kink going on in bed.
I always go onto the Alfie thread as it always makes me laugh how everyone there thinks he's a knob

Yeah there isn’t a healthy approach to food going on, especially considering Dianne exercises a lot. I think their skin is evident of some nourishment issues.
Yes definitely agree with the food problems. Diannes has said shes struggled with food hasn’t she. I think Dianne being a dancer she is very strict on what she eats might feel the need to always cook as a control thing if you get me. I could be wrong but it’s often a trait when people have a problem with food. Hope she gets more protein and doesn’t have a problem. She did mention how obsessed she is with her new kitchen and that she doesn’t want Joe to cook in it. Considering Dianne is usually so messy, I’m surprised with how she said she wants control of the inside of the house. I don’t see her keeping her dressing room tidy as she has an ridiculous amount of clothes but I’d like to see what the office etc looks like.
Haha Alfie is a complete knob. It’s not that hard to look like a saint next to him.

Joe has gone from a lad about town, with his mates, his own penthouse etc to little joey and being congratulated for eating his breakfast it’s so weird.
I really like Dianne and I think they are genuinely in love, but I just find the whole dynamic so odd. Whatever works for them I guess

There's taking care of your guy, and then there's Joe & Dianne. The infatizing nicknames and gold stars for finishing a meal is weird as hell. Especially when they'll do that and a few clips later are naked in bed, making sexual comments or eye f-ing each other. It's icky.
In one way I get why some of the petnames and mothering stuff is weird. But I do at least believe they care about each other, love each other etc. Yeah, they might give each other tit at times, they might have a weird dynamic to us, but if they are happy with it, and from what they show us, they do seem to be happy and in love with each other, then that's good.
It's better than being stuck in a dead relationship with someone you clearly can't stand like Zoe and Alfie.

I don’t think it’s completely unbelievable to think that Joe might also have issues with food. I think she mothers him and they’re so used to it they don’t edit it out of the videos. Praising him for finishing is just an example. Purely speculating but maybe Joe’s mum wasn’t the most affectionate growing up and Dianne is kind of filling that role now if that makes sense. I always got the vibe Zoe and Joe had odd relationships with their parents.

Didn’t Joe do a big video about his skin and he’d been to see a specialist a few years ago. He did seem to do a lot to sort it out) or maybe it was just an advert I never know with these lot) so god knows why he lets Dianne go digging around his spots and using some cheap suction thing on it when he’s said he has poor skin already.
