Has anyone taken one for the team and got James’ audiobook? Also did anyone see the video about the publishers wanting to delay but he said no and brought it forward-is that bullshit? Surely his opinion wouldn’t carry more weight than publishers etc?

James Smith giving advice on life, relationships, career, etc.? No thanks. Gym advice from someone who was a professional PT for 5+ years fair enough, but the rest? Don't make me laugh!

I'm guessing his fans will still keep their preorder for the physical copy, so his first week sales should shift units and he might get multiple sales from the same buyers. Whether it would be another Times number 1 best seller, probably depends on the rest of the market at the time. Would it be competing against all the non-fiction novelty books and autobiographies that sell well before Christmas?

He released it early because of uk lockdown and only and said he could only do it early as Audio book - but actually suits him well as he will make more money from the royalties of the audio than the actual book!! (It was discussed on another podcast!) he’s doing it for him not us lol

Regardless of the audiobook the physical book will sell too. All the superfans in the academy will be out performing themselves to tag 'the boss' in their posts when it arrives plus all the hanger on influencers on the periphery of his circle will be at that too. The ones going to the book tour will want copies they can get signed. So its win win really.
In fairness I think its a great testament to his friendship with Lucy Lord that he is trying to sort her somewhere to live and keep her well fed. Its a really genuine, no bullshit friendship.

I’d like to think he’s keeping her well fed,that girl is constantly cooking for them lol. Agree that their friendship is actually really lovely though-he attended hospital appointments etc with her when she had a large growth years ago too,I like their friendship and hoping he winds his neck in now she is back in Sydney.

Plagiarism is all about the photo on the front cover rather than the content for him, isn't it?

That food Lucy is being given for quarantining is terrible, thank god she’s got friends sending her things!! She said she had paid 3000 dollars to quarantine if it was me I would be expecting a lot better but I actually really like Lucy and she hasn’t complained about it at all!

Just checked that out-what a breath of fresh air she is I would definitely not be handling it as well as she is.

To be fair though it’s 14 nights in a hotel, 3 meals a day even if the food is , and the army escort from the hotel, guards on every floor 24/7 to ensure nobody comes out of their rooms, they have someone running them up all their Uber eats etc.
If you budgeted $20-25 a meal 3 x a day for ordering in for 14 days then it’s only $840-1000. I would make do with the breakfast and only order if the lunch and dinner were absolutely terrible. Surely she can afford that and doesn’t need her friends paying for her meals although it is nice of them to do so.

All travellers are paying that much to do the mandatory quarantine here. The Government are using nice hotels for it but for the most part those hotels are stripping back their rooms to basics and you don’t get a choice in where you stay. I have heard so many reports of horrible food, you would think they would be trying to make it tastyso travellers would be more inclined to support them again when they reopen!

I think as well because there are only very limited flights in and out she has had to pay well over the odds for her flights back and had loads cancelled so she might be out of pocket there while waiting on refunds etc. So its nice her friends are rowing in to help I think.

Yeah i think they want to tteat her after the few momths shes had, and theyre glad to have her back. By all accounts and by virtue of how she comes across on her account, she seems like a great person and a great friend to have. Glad shes being looked after, im sure the quarantine is tough going and that the treats are a pick me up!
