Does Carys forget she said in vlogs she got stretch marks during puberty and weight gain anyway😂😭
And that she found stretch marks sexy😂, yet here she is trying to convince herself to like her new body
I actually hate this content, this sort of 'postpartum porn', 'look how messed up my body is' . I'm 37 weeks and am dreading my PP body already, people like Carys do not help.

Worrying won't change whether you get them or not so I think it's good to know other people have it or worse!

Stretch marks literally fade to nothing I hope she realises that.
They literally don't fade to nothing for a lot of people. I can still see stretch marks that I got when I was aged 18/19

For once I actually like that she posted about her stretch marks, I personally wouldn’t want to because I’m too scared to even show my own family my stretch marks on my legs like Carys has! I always wear full length jeans/leggings so to post that online for everyone to see isn’t easy.

I agree! I always used to feel so embarrassed and want to hide my stretch marks because none of my friends had them and I thought I was weird or ‘ugly’ for them. Seeing posts online of other women embracing them really helps a lot of other people!

it's not really surprising that she's posted the stretch marks though? Even if she doesn't like them, she knows it will boost her engagement and make her seem more real and relatable. And she will get hundreds of people calling her beautiful and amazing, so it's a win win for her😂

Maybe because I just don't give a tit what people think of me and I know that most people have them (one of the slimmest girls in my high school had them), I've never hated my stretch marks 😂 Ones from puberty are white and only noticeable I'm certain lights or if you're looking for them, and my ones from pregnancy are now starting to fade too. But I guess it's different for everyone

She keeps giving the sly comments to tattle lol
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the baby being asleep at 5/6pm she is still only 5/6weeks. She won’t settle later yes but then newborns have no concept of time of day and it hardly seems fair to keep her awake on purpose this young
To be fair to Carys, the recommended awake time for a newborn up to 6 weeks is actually only an hour before they get overtired- my little boy was the same, he needed a nap after being awake for an hour / an hour and a half right up until 3 months old. And it's nonsense that keeping them awake mean they will sleep more later, at that young age sleep breeds sleep! I agree she is overly fixated on how much Amber needs to sleep, after 4 weeks they do tend to wake up more to the world, but really, she would probably settle better for a nap on one of them whilst she's so tiny. I have been quite strict about good sleep for my son, but my he only napped on me or in the pram until he was 4 months, he slept best on me and I loved the cuddles. Around that age he started showing he was tired and wanted to go to bed around 8pm, so that's when we started to 'put him down' for the night. Even so, I kept him in with us till 6 months due to SIDS and actually, I think we were bothering him because he's slept through 90% of the time ever since he went into his own room (now 18 months). The thing is though, 5/6 weeks is still so tiny, there's so much time to shape gentle routines as they grow and change, I just slept when I could around him at that age.

Why does she keep posting stuff like a humble brag “omg Amber is basically standing you guyssssss” - all babies do that 🤦‍♀️ Can’t she just google things.

humble brag, my baby did that at 1 week old🙄 I didn't think it meant she wanted to be standing already ffs 😂 quick google and you can see it's a natural reflex

mine didnt, i have very similar ones to her and they are still very much still here after 10 years :O

i honestly thought i was the only one that got stretch marks as bad as i did because i've never seen anyone with worst ones. so i actually feel a bit better after Carys post. i'm not the only one that got them like that all down my legs, all over my bum all around my waist.
this is the first time I've liked something Carys has posted lol!

Can already imagine how many posts we will get with "but isn't she too young to be doing this milestone???", which is just her smug way of bragging🤢

It is a natural reflex and they can do it from being very young, but she shouldn’t be letting her do that yet. I love how she posted the advice and then chose to ignore it by saying “oh we only let her do it for short periods”. No carys, don’t let her do it all yet!

my nephew was doing that at amber’s age, but he couldn’t walk until he was 19 months.
