....i actually spotted this one the day after she leftHave they not put up a blue plaque in memory of JM's visit. I mean, you are in the right part of Edinburgh - there are plaques to other great writers like Robert Louis Stevenson, JM Barrie and Sir Walter Scott, so why not Jack?
Preferably rinsed.Some magic beans ?
Thankyou! I’m goin’ in!@Fiddledeedee here you go, get the eye bleach ready! https://tattle.life/threads/jack-mo...uick-jack-stop-being-such-a-dick.6676/page-14
That'll be all the hot air your spouting .Really don't think it'll be that cold.Maybe try 3 jumpers ?.Aye, Innit, Strewth. View attachment 226651
JM is using an exaggerated example there. Surely others at the table would know her (alleged) circumstances and adjust her share of the bill. I have been ripped off by others on so many occasions at settling the bill time, that I now just total up what I ate plus my share of service and VAT and pay that. However, the occasions where it has happened to me were not as exaggerated as hers. It has been more a case of people who take beef Wellington when others are eating chicken, or they had lobster as a starter when the rest had duck parfait etc. You have to watch though if people total up the price of their dishes and drinks, but don't include their share of the VAT or 15% service charge. I once wondered why a friend who had eaten exactly the same food and drink as me, totalled up her costs, but ended up paying a lot less than me - she left off the VAT and service charge.Any time I’ve been out for a meal before lockdown if it was with a group of people we all paid for our own meals. We just asked for the bill, paid our own share and left a tip.
It’s easy enough done. Does anyone believe that Jack sat in a restaurant with pals who were eating the finest steak and she sat there with a salad and tap water and then paid an equal share of the entire bill?
20 quid plus for a salad and a glass of water? I certainly wouldn’t. Particularly if I were skint. Which I was for a long time.
Oh my LAWD. Soooo awkward and desperate. And - I would kill anyone who put their feet, bum and unruly labia on my benchtop!! Skeeved right out.Thankyou! I’m goin’ in!
Oh and her intro ‘something’s simmering...’Oh my LAWD. Soooo awkward and desperate. And - I would kill anyone who put their feet, bum and unruly labia on my benchtop!! Skeeved right out.
Wasn't his brother her lawyer ?What I suggest she (or anyone else does) is look on the internet for suggestions as to deal with bill splitting fairly. I think Martin Lewis' website has suggestions. The thing Jack should understand is that she can now afford to eat the whole menu by herself, but the way she writes these comments makes her followers think that she is still in dire straits. The way her tip jar and Patreon is going, she will be able to afford to buy the restaurant premises.
Much like with her poverty tales, she knows how to play the fans’ faves.Afternoon all! I've been away for a lovely two weeks but have been slowly keeping up. Just popped in to say, glad to see not one day passes without Jack's inconsistencies shining through. She's said previously that the old flat was draughty but the new bungalow was not, and it had therefore done wonders for herhugely exaggeratedarthritis. Now it's so cold, she's got the heating on during Summer...
I don't know. I tried various searches, but couldn't come up with anything. i do recall both JM and Hopkins were represented on a 'no win, no fee' basis. I can't stand Hopkins, but I wish she had settled out of court at the £5,000 because she just provided JM a lot of unearned cash and nationwide publicity which she doesn't deserve.Wasn't his brother her lawyer ?
The Telegraph had a article .It's a Mark Lewis who represents Seddon's solicitors.Pretty sure it's Martin's brother because on one of his programs he mentioned him so there was no conflict of interest on a item he was doingI don't know. That sounds great, we could do with something like that for our back door, it lets in so much cold airDidn't jack allegedly go for 2 meals in one evening last week to make the most of the eat of to help out scheme?
Our house is cold, there's nothing in front of us, and we face the prevailing wind. I have a special door curtain (it's thermal and doesn't let the wind through), in winter or if its cold /windy we draw that and it makes a huge difference to the temperature in the house. If I'm by myself in the house I wear cardies and sheepskin slippers, and if needs be wrap myself in a slanket before I put the heating on
Something something white crumbly dog tit‘What’s THAT about eh?’
