Most breeds that fall under the remit of back yard breeders (as, obviously, no actual professional breeder would allow one of their precious pups there with the constant stream of Death) are pathetic mutants that have a habit of costing owners thousands of pounds above and beyond the original purchase price (which is in the thousands at the moment) and then dying. Can't quite imagine her happily taking on a Staffie cross or other mostly indestructible mongrel when something fancy could appear on IG.
No on the spur of the moment trips to Edinburgh. Training, socialisation, insurance, vaccinations, daily exercise to a routine, going out for toileting breaks. Not a chance she could provide everything a puppy or dog needs. And oh, the stories of bad men threatening her 'pupper' and her protecting it and all dogs in the surrounding area would be neverending.
Twenty thousand steps a day.
