Anyway, there were plenty of rolled towels of various sizes but she'd done a really tit job of the actual rolling and then a further tit job of stacking them and it all looked a mess.

Would be far more valuable & tbh radical to feature the realities of poverty but people don’t want to see inescapable doom & gloom, horrid living conditions, and tbh people don’t care for non white non British non (Eurocentric) beauty standard conforming people either. This is 100% nail on the head. Someone upthread (can't find it now sorry!) was talking about a period of their life when they were scarily short on money but concluded "but I was still MC". Poverty / non poverty difference is to do with money, sure, but is also greatly to do with social capital, networks, perceived opportunities, which in turn have an impact on communication skills, self confidence, perceptions of 'people in authority' and other things. Looked at objectively, in my opinion Jack is pretty, intelligent and due to her media career has plenty of social capital, so regardless of cashflow, poverty does not apply.
Her career has tanked. The only thing she needs to juggle is tins of beans and bottles of jif.
The thing is she doesn’t need to actively ask as she knows her tipjar is open.
If so even more reason to think about everything. I've been doing my own research on hypoplasia in my old uni text books( as I can only remember the basics off hand) but this kitten can potentially live many years( which can be good, but she could need lots of care) everyone's job is wobbly at present so taking on something that could potentially be costly ( especially to someone who has lived and fears poverty) isn't a wise choice. If 3 vets have suggested euthanasia its prognosis doesn't look good. I don't know if they have done blood works but they are a good general indicator of the animals internal health workings. The x-rays don't look good, but I don't know if that is the only thing they are basing the prognosis on. I would be surprised if they have as blood work is normally always the first thing they do, if the immediate problem isnt visible or it looks congenital.
And the good old poverty jokes from the other day of being washed down with a hose and having no bowls were gross. Fair enough to look back on a traumatic time of your own and use gallows humour to talk about it among friends if that's what works for you, but when she
