It’s coming up to 7? Years since Jack came out as trans on Twitter , following a” full-on psychotic, awful, terrible” breakdown , months of psychiatric treatment and a referral to a gender identity clinic . So my guess for the new thing is how terf trolls have constantly hounded her since that announcement, a mention of the “ but I like girls babe” fiancée , how living her truth cost her relationships and jobs, and how recent “trolling” combined with facing the perimenopause/her recent miscarriages with Old Harold , speculation over her sexuality and that bot article she called out for discussing the contents of her womb )after she’d breadcrumbed by asking for girls names on Twitter ), has brought all that up again triggering her cpstd/ptsd,body dismorphia etc. a passing reference will be made to how she never claimed to be the most lesbian lesbian and how there’s always exceptions . There will be a tale of woe about her failed tinder experience and the extra challenges of dating as a sober single parent trans working class person in near poverty. Followed by how she fears that her mental health will continue to decline until she is able to attend a specialist gender identity/trauma therapist but sadly the tories have cut funding to those because they want all poor people dead . Brief talk about how they see other people set up crowdfunding for the therapy but as a poverty campaigner on the coal face for 10 years she knows the trolls would deliberately derail any one she set up as part of a malicious and organised tory terf attack . But if anyone is moved to help her scrape together enough money to get enough help to carry on her vital work , her is the PayPal


i think she will play the gender identity card purely because it’s the one that’s most protection to her and hardest to disprove. She’s not stupid enough to play the poverty angle again ( yet) , there will be too many questions asked if she goes for the cancer/heart attacks/multiple health issues angle . Playing the gender identity card will give all those delicious paypig squigs a nice glow of feeling of being one of the goodies when they donate especially for those of them who are gender critical but petrified of being called a terf .

I did wonder for a while whether we’d get a big My Detrans Journey from her, but then nearly all her FMs have trans flags in their name so I think it’d be too risky.

She was a bit quick off the mark with the non binary thing when she came out, as a lot of people had no idea what it was back then (I still hear conflicting definitions), so talking about that is a possibility too. In a way, the non binary thing is better as she won’t have to make any changes to her appearance and most people I know who’ve come out as NB still tend to dress and present as their birth sex.

Well - a couple of episodes ago Katie casually asked her co-host if 3rd generation immigrants were a thing, and if it garnered any oppression points.My ears perked up because I’ve only heard that used once before. Could Katie be on the case? Then she recently QT’d Jack’s gas station/bodega haul and said basically in the US that would be $1,000 worth of food. She’s hilarious.

So Jack’s definitely on her radar & I’m hoping there will be an episode forthcoming.

The thing is if she just picked say writing and cooking and worked at them she could be mediocre and bump along making a living. For activism she could just retweet and boost established campaigns so we don't get serious issues derailed with Jack being traumatised by brown envelopes and clawing the walls. That would be pretty much all she'd need to do, if charities knew she could be relied upon to beam away at a balloon launch and not go online showing them up she could get in on that big networking opportunity and probably grift her way onto a board or two of smaller organisations. Yes its toxoplasmosis. When you're pregnant your sense of smell can be heightened (I could smell a cat food tin being opened from about a mile away) so cleaning a used litter tray was something I deferred to the kid's father for both of these reasons!

That was earlier this year. Jack went into her local Asda and was horrified that a few items like Basics rice were missing. She did a massive viral thread about how Basics rice had gone up 344 per cent and how this effected the poor more. Asda used this as PR to say they would make sure the Basics range were in every store, even though a Frau went into Jack’s Asda and found the missing Basics rice. They just hadn’t refilled the shelf or something. News outlets all over interviewed Jack about rice going up 344 per cent even though it hadn’t and she was given a second lease of media life. She then said she was going to put together the VBI in a weekend to show how things effected the poor disproportionately and got even more media interviews off the back of it. The VBI has still not been finished 7 months later.

I thought it was because she couldn’t find them on the website? Typing smartprice or smart price in correctly but not actually yomping to the local branch
