Waaaiiit, she’s with someone else already?

Considering she seemed to fall quite hard with the last one and he ended it so abruptly, wouldn’t she want to take a minute to get over him before dragging someone else into the mix?

Jack, I get why rebounds are a thing, I really do, I’m sure it feels nice right now. But ultimately it’s not fair on either of you - or SB! Slow down! 😬

Hopelessly behind, but this is a PSA about microwaving stone fruit.

Yes, I did it. I had a few very unripe nectarines (I wish I could say peaches, to stay on brand, but despite not being autistic, I like big butts and I cannot lie.) and I thought this is my moment!

I followed her instructions exactly. One hard nectarine, straight into the microwave, 1 minute on full blast. Nothing happened apart from a bit of the nectarine getting hot. Then 2 minutes on defrost. At this point it started fizzing and my children were concerned. My teen accused me of watching too much TikTok and getting pranked by the internet. Oh, if only he knew the truth.

Anyway, the nectarine was hot and leaking. I bunged it in the fridge (health and safety). This was about 2 hours ago and I've just consumed the nectarine in question.

It had oddly changed colour and was slightly greenish on the outside. However, it had actually gone soft and seemed in texture like a much riper nectarine (though bits of it were still hard, so it was a strange sensation to eat). The main disappointment though was that it still tasted exactly like an unripe nectarine, i.e. of nothing.

Verdict: While it's not as dangerous as I first feared and didn't cause an explosion in my microwave, it also didn't ripen the fruit in any meaningful way. 3/10

I think it was just a roll in the pumble.

I think what she's referring to here is the ONE time when she must have jumped off the train in Manchester on her way back from Edinburgh to do that BBC studio thing last week. You know, before she hopped off the train in the hopeless place to take selfies in a playpark and do the radio phone in. She may not have bothered to claim travel expenses because she was on the train down anyway.
Still doesn't make sense if NBH hasn't existed since 2012 but I appreciate your attempt to make Jack Logic fit the real world, tender one, go well x

As someone who has tried to get a SM following for a couple of ventures and has struggled due to it being a hell of a lot of work and life not always being kind enough here to give my the time to do it, this might possible be my aneurysm.

I didn't mean she's getting paid for the playpark phone call, it's just that that same day, a couple of hours before, on the way back from Edinburgh, she must have stopped off at Manchester to be on the telly. I forget what the TV segment was called but it was all in the same day. It's the only reason I can think why she would go to Manchester for filming. But of course, being Jack, she does it once and then acts like it's a regular occurrence.

Her unhinged rant full of lies “defending” her own fantasy of her parents’ working class honour is so insulting to them.

Big Dave has legitimately achieved a lot in his life. He is very pompous about it, and his own middle class upbringing would have helped ease the way, but the achievements, hard work and good deeds are very real. He went to grammar school himself, and has a degree. He was in the army from the age of 16-23, then spent 28 years in the fire service, and worked his way up to a very senior management position. He’s been a foster carer for 30 years, and headed up an association for fostering, and was awarded an MBE for it. He volunteers at several groups, including military associations and the RNLI.

Her mum was a nurse, a foster carer, a mother, and now, we learn, after retiring from nursing, she ran a local preschool. She is active in her local church.

Her grandad owned his own guesthouse and restaurant. His will reveals he left 12 properties, worth a total of £1,800,000, to his four children back in 2013. His landlording isn’t something to be proud of, and neither is Jack’s dad’s landlording now that he’s inherited some if his dad’s properties. But Jack’s grandad moving to another country and becoming a rich businessman here was undeniably an achievement.

One of the traditional definitions of middle class was having people working under you, which all her family did. Her family are very accomplished, and that’s a good thing. It is not an “attack” on them to point out this out.

By denying their achievements and pretending they were scraping to survive is to tit on everything they accomplished, and the good quality of life Jack was born into through the fruits of their hard work.

There is nothing at all wrong with being middle class, Jack, you little ingrate. What is wrong is pretending to have been starving and impoverished while your loving, relatively wealthy family lived around the corner. What is wrong is pretending to have a working class background, and taking the place in the media of an impoverished working class person and being a paid figurehead for a life of which you know less than nothing about. Especially when actual working class people are largely excluded from media work, and it was your middle class connections - a friend in the media - who gave you your big break in the first place.

What is most wrong of all is still pretending to be “grinding your bones to dust” to keep your head above water, 10 whole years after you were gifted an incredible platform (as a result of your lies, don’t forget), and extracting vast hoards of money out of your idiot cult followers due to your endless begging and moaning.

If you have failed to be relatively wealthy after 10 years of work in newspapers, TV, radio, advertising, brand partnerships and six cookbooks, that means you’re a useless failure and tit with money. If you continue to fail to legitimately monetise your 500,000 Twitter and 176,000 Instagram followers, you’re so stupid and lazy that you deserve to be as penniless as you pretend to be. Your middle class family must be so ashamed of you.
100% THIS

There are instagram influencers in their teens who can monetise half the following that Whacky Jacky has. Imagine the good she could do with some sponsorship deals and endorsements, she could actually redistribute some of it.
It's pure entitlement, she's such a brat.

There's a reason why tinned fruit was cooked in syrup and pears/etc are poached in wine, sugar and spices - because they taste like crap when they're not ripe.

Is that normal? Like I genuinely have no idea! That’s how it worked for us but there weren’t any grandkids and my grandparents didn’t have any property or money.

I don’t know, obviously I’m in no place to judge and I’m not! But I would expect that they’d think the grandchildren would benefit more from it than Big D, it just seems odd to me!
I don't think it's usual to give grandkids the inheritance?

All of my grandparents are DEAD 🔺.

Everything my grandads left went to spouses and when my grandmas died went to their children. Us grandchildren got a much smaller amount - £100 from one set and £1000 from the other.

Just catching up....what's the tea with Jackass and Camerons & Jamie Oliver?
she made some disgusting comments about his son Ivan.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2847731/amp/Sainsbury-s-disowns-anti-austerity-cook-used-face-supermarket-stands-claim-Cameron-uses-dead-son-sell-NHS.html

with regards to Jamie Oliver, she instigated a pile on insisting he had ‘stolen her niche’ and as a result of her massive Twitter tantrum she got the DKL gig.. https://limegoss.com/jack-monroe-jamie-oliver/

in both these instances she states she wrote them private messages apologising and apparently both times she was ignored. Funny that (because it didn’t happen IMO).

Karl is my aneurysm. Not just because of who brave, determined not to go quietly, Karl is but because there have been thousands of Karl’s who just aren’t necessarily disabled or living in a care home. Little accounts who don’t get noticed but who are left reeling from an attack from Jack and those dreadful creatures who follow her around. An attack that can go on for days if they have offended badly enough.
Having said that, there’s been a sea change. Last nights dreadful carry on happened on Jacks own timeline with every single one of her follows able to see it and form their own opinions.
There’s less talk now of evil tories or GC monsters out to take Jack down, now it’s the puritanical left demanding impossibly high standards of the smol poverty princess.
Last night damaged her, it’s another nail in her coffin but at the expense of a vunerable and actually very bright man. It doesn’t feel worth it.
One last thing, I will never ever feel sorry for Jack Monroe again, my sympathy is all for her victims

Good morning!

I am utterly shocked that Jack's "apology" occurred behind the scenes and it is everybody else's fault.

Glad to see Jack Monroe / bootstrapcook deleted the tweet where she targeted an individual with a learning disability who was trying to defend her with verbal abuse. As stated before, I archived the tweet for future reference, should she feel the need to reinvent history.

Thankfully, Karl was more than capable of holding his own.

Unfortunately, her apology doesn't address the fact that nobody should receive this abuse from her. She does this on a regular basis and there are individuals who do not include any vulnerabilities in their profiles. She should most certainly shouldn't be arranging for pile ons on anybody with a smaller platform than herself.

Matei, the MSE journalist and the lecturer who specialises in journalistic representations of poverty all also deserve apologies for her behaviour. And that's just from this week alone.

It is not abusive to ask a question or query contradictions. This gaslighting and appalling behaviour is unacceptable.
This is spot on. You would think that this alone would warrant some sort of expose/review and also some sort of due diligence by TV/Radio Channels before they place her on their shows. It must improve her credibility to her followers/the general public (even if she doesn’t get paid directly to do it.)

Wow. This is the IG of a basic beeyotch Tay-Tay loving pumpkin spice latter drinking wanna be lil Wiccan MC gurl.

It is NOT the IG of a desperate, suicidal, starving, forced into prostitution, rough-sleeping, bin-burger eating destitute woman.
Yes, absolutely. And to illustrate how unoriginal she always has been, here is her Teemil slogan form 2012. What an absolute continual cow she's been over the last three days though. She's escalating.
