The problem is, Grunka, as we have repeatedly seen, that she is not prepared to take responsibility and do the work needed to get herself better.

She positively revels in being a victim and I think without it she literally has no identity, so in a weird way it's safer and easier for her to stay as she is.

I find her behaviour so depressing and exhausting. She actually makes me really angry

I think the only answer is for her to be sectioned, she won't take any responsibility for her own health now (mental or physical) And just to clarify, you can be sectioned just while assessments and treatment take place, I'm not necessarily suggesting she needs a long term section but I do think she needs some immediate medical intervention.

She has an excuse for everything, and is determined not to take any advice or offers for help. The act of someone offering her even the kindest little idea makes her so angry.

It has been unpleasant to watch for a while now, and she's damaging her employment prospects, relationships and credibility. I get that family and friends must feel reluctant to "get her in trouble" or interfere but the fact is that she's now evidently spiralled so far out of control, she's dangerous.

Here's my outfit of choice, late 90s, I was 17. My boyfriend had greasy hair and wore a leather jacket. We smoked gauloises, drank cheap wine and thought we were intellectuals.

Or frames it in the context of herself. When I think of how she only piped up about the free schools meals stuff after it had gained nationwide acceptance, and after all the hard work done by Marcus Rashford, I get so so so angry. She didn't have any insight to offer, only criticism about how she could do something better. Rashford could have really benefitted from her RTing his campaign work to help with the lobbying. She does have a huge audience of engaged followers who, while are blinded by their love of her, would definitely have helped contribute - in fact their love of her would have made them more likely to do so! After all, look at all the Tin Can Cook donations etc she got. But she only chimed in after it was complete.

And guess what? She never followed through with her own £15 idea anyway! Bit harder than you thought, eh Jack?

Hmmmm I don't know if I agree - I think she loves the attention and if anything the 'trolls' allow her to continue to be a victim worthy of sympathy and attention, despite having a very successful career, being a Groucho club member and owning three freezers.

Yes, true. Maybe I'm being too sympathetic - that 'two word' tweet got to me a bit. I don't think she knows what she wants. I do think the combination of bleeping up several opportunities with DKL/mayo live, a breakup and a pandemic lockdown has created a toxic spiral.

So true. And it would provide REAL connection with REAL people. As much as I love the cabal, this thread would not emotionally fulfil me and from everything I've read on here, we all clearly get our emotional support from elsewhere (as well as here, not dissing the lots of lovely, supportive messages).

Teaching is a lovely way to connect with people. Problem for her is, you have to care about your students. You have to be interested in them. You have to listen. The fulfilment you get from helping someone, teaching someone a skill they didn't have before is incredibly rewarding.

I work in the film industry but I would absolutely love to run cookery workshops - I just don’t have the confidence to believe that people will actually want to pay to attend them, not enough to change my career yet! But jack is a recognisable name, she is in such a fortunate position with so many different options If she is willing to give up her dream of fame and fortune. Not everyone in lifeends up with a BBC series.

Whinging on Twitter about us (But not mentioning us by name) is all she has now. She‘s ramping up the attention seeking so if (god forbid) something happened we’d get the blame. Her poor mental health is absolutely not down to us, she has her own tit in her head from way before we were invented that she simply HAS to deal with now. I'm planning my own 'before sunset' - meeting up with the guy I fell in love with 12 years ago in Siberia, haven't seen him since. He's in Switzerland now and if we don't spend all night wandering the streets and then shagging in a park I'll be well disappointed

I think the fact she was banned from posting here is what has really infuriated her the most. She can't handle not having control and here is somewhere she is unable to direct the narrative and manipulate, unlike her social media. Plus there's the fact that she seems incapable of banning herself from Twitter et al, no such problem here Jack, the Tattle powers that be took it out of your hands! I really think she is outraged that she can't pop back in here.
