For fraus in the know about hoarding, does it come in all shapes and sizes or is it a spectrum? As in, is there a way to tell by looking whether someone is just clutter-blind or whether they actually have a hoarding problem?
I don't have any specialist knowledge, but as a layperson, when someone is writing a book which tells us to keep tumble dryer lint and HUMAN HAIR in little jars in case they come in useful at some point, it sets off alarm bells.

Jack's kitchen always makes me itch.

Guarantee when she finally departs the crappy Bungalow we will be treated to many rants about the evil landlady withholding her deposit.

OH NO child you are not going there. Professor Stock is a philosopher. She knows quite a bit about logic. Her latest book, as well as being very compassionate and progressive, is above all, LOGICAL. Also, she claps back. Don't come for Prof Stock Jack.

Or maybe, do come for her so she can hand you back your Mediterranean arse on a plate served with rinsed hoops and miscellaneous herbs.
Yeah, I was just looking at the replies to Jack in that thread and they are not in Jack's favour.

Her engagement has also dropped dramatically across the board. The wider Twittersphere is finally starting to put two and two together methinks.

She's incredibly disrespectful towards her possessions for someone who didn't have much for a 'long time'. Almost as if she's never...... been poor?

It took me two years to save for a Kitchen Aid mixer, and ever since it arrived, it has been treated like a queen. The same goes for everything else I saved for. I treasure them; not because I am materialistic (quite the opposite!) but because I know the graft it took to buy them.
You mean you haven’t spray painted it?

Sometimes I think it's a bid for attention. Other times I wonder if she's manic or doing drugs. It wouldn't surprise me if she was trying to alarm people so they'll ask 'are you okay?' and she'll get all of that Twitter concern. Even if it's all performative, I'd argue that in itself is a sign something's wrong.

She's been acting like this for ages now, though. The erratic behaviour isn't new. I can't wrap my head around her social media presence tbh. She does such self-sabotaging things, has no filter, and lies about absolutely trivial stuff that no normal person would risk lying about. I cringe at the way she overshares the tiniest details of her life. The sexy provocative posts are sooo inappropriate for a work account (thirst Jack, worst Jack!). That's before we even get to the level of aggression she displays towards other people. She makes impulsive, ill-considered decisions, e.g. the dog, the short-lived Tinder profile, whatever else she's been doing lately. To use one example, the posts complaining about her landlady and the removal of the Eucalyptus tree. No matter Jack's personal feelings about it, she should have more sense than to post these criticisms all over her social media. It's like she's never heard the word consequences.
I know I shouldnt diagnose people online but her behaviour fits with someone with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) (formerly or otherwise knows as BPS). The erratic emotions, impulsiveness, attention/care seeking behaviours...

She would be better looking for treatment like DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy) but like any sort of treatment she would need to be ready and engaged.

But I am just a randomer on internet who shouldn't be commenting 😂

I think she’s got something lined up. She must know how sketchy the market is, she’d be howling and clawing more otherwise rather than this performative decluttering zen she’s got going on. I’d not be surprised one bit if it’s another house that has a spare room downstairs that’s a bedroom so she can pretend it’s a flat when it’s not.
In other news I’m definitely grunking too much because a Smol pixie invaded my dreams last night. I stole her handbag was a lovely little purple designer number that she’d left nailed to a wall for some reason. Then she🔺 me and I had to delete all my socials and tattle 🤣

Hands up who thinks Jack should have a ‘I’m Downsizing!’ garage sale?

I am glad that she is hopefully and finally doing stuff for that kid. Hes been through alot. I dont believe he will hang around for long though if this indeed is her way of keeping him visiting.

My best friend started to pull away from their dad at about 13 and started to spend more time hanging out with me and her other mates, this gradually dwindled until her GCSE where she literally went about once every six weeks.

Also her sleeping in the lounge will make it awkward for him bringing home friends and eventually gfs. Imagine bringing home a girl to hang out in your room and finding your mum draped in bed across the living room with a bowl of bedpan stew.

She really doesn't need to make this much fuss moving, just sell that tatt you dont need and take what you do. If she is indeed buying this place then good for her. I hope it will cause her to shut up about RENTING and i really do hope she will hurry up and get a job.

Bascially i wish she would just crack on and stop the perfomative bollocks.
I will bet any money that she’s is moving into a two bed place but she will have one bedroom as an office with a sofa bed in. But she’ll call it a one bed, as, poor 🥹

What is she doing with all this stuff? It's not like she's hosting fabulous dinner parties for the poors.

What. An. Absolute. bleeping. Waste.
That’s another income stream she never explored - because it would have taken actual work. She would get paid a really decent amount to review kitchen things and could then sell them. Top bloggers make a lot of money doing things like that, and it’s actually USEFUL for people if they are time or energy saving etc.

Still grunking when I should be working.
This I found really interesting. Her mum reached out to her during lockdownwith pics of her baking. Jack completely ignored her

Agreed.
The 6 months refers to her being chucked out of the crappy bungalow. She thinks she can just waltz into a small flat in February.
She keeps saying 1 bedroom flat because she thinks that's where poor people live.
Also agree that it is highly likely Big D is sorting a new place for her. Maybe as guarantor or moving her into one of his properties.
Mini grunk this morning and a few thoughts

6 months seems to be how long she says she has on the lease, so I think that's why she is fixated on that date.

I think she's probably being very naive about the rental market - it's changed drastically since she was last looking and I get the impression she thinks she'll be able to move straight from the crappy bungalow into somewhere new. In reality she'll really struggle with her credit history, 2 pets and a lot of landlords won't let a house with 1 bedroom to an adult with an older child (if she keeps up the fiction that SB is living with her)

I also wonder whether the 6 month thing is performative (what isn't with Jack) as a sort of count down to her lovely life being OVER and her being forced to return to poverty. A tip jar rattling in the background.

Or she's playing the long game - she won't be able to find anywhere and the landlady is going to try to TRAP HER in another two year deal, rather than letting her shift to a rolling contract.

I think all the stuff about "making things fit" is more about making sure people know just how SMALL her new place is likely to be. Rather than having a specific place in mind.

Agree with others that her admitting to having so much stuff when on the bones of her arse won't be a good look.

I wish she wouldn't use it the term hoarding so flippantly.

Sorry for the random capitals, was challenging my inner Jack.

Is this hers? If so, can I say she has delusions of grandeur if she thinks she’s such an established cook and food photographer that she needs all of this stuff to present her creations?!
there is no part of this that looks clean or appealing to me.
