And Nigella's patronage has leant an air of respectability to the whole grift. I bet a fair few people have given Jack Monroe money because Nigella has endorsed her.

So...I looked at the QTs of the rinsed hoop outing, and clipped some quotes. I then got all forensic, and totalled the follower count of all the QTs. ~drum roll~..... 30,252!

I think a lot of people Know about JM or at least suspect, but have been afraid to say anything. Everyone at Channel 4 does for sure. It just needed a critical mass on twitter to break the silence and I'm really glad it has. I also think a lot of quite well meaning people like Nigella just don't think about things like this very deeply. There's an assumption that all criticism is generic social media trolling, because that seems more realistic to them than the notion that someone they've stuck up for is a pathological liar and they've been taken for a ride.
those Twitter comments are great - and that’s not even her worst recipe! Wait till they see the salmon paste pasta, or the Three Tin Tender!
@WaffleKent , you’re amazing. I’m so glad you’re here to confirm what I always expected regarding Jack’s possible emotional abuse of her exes.
Also Fraus in all the chaos I feel we haven’t properly highlighted the ridiculousness of her IG post showing a slightly scuffed knee and saying it was fighting a policewoman and flooring her. Then backtracking and saying it was for FILMING but then forward tracking again and saying the fight was genuine and that she’s floored people before.
