It takes a certain level of coldness and calculation to have branded yourself as a champion of those in poverty while simultaneously declaring hundreds of pounds a month in passive Patreon income as not even worth talking about. When I was living month to month and looking for dropped coins on the ground a few hundred pounds a month would have made things beyond manageable. She obviously isn't poor if Patreon income can be dismissed in her high handed manner.

So let’s say she did give herself a wave of £23k. We know from what she herself has told us about her bills, that wouldn’t cover all her bills. So the shortfall is coming from the Patreon/tip jar/PayPal.

I think her addiction to Twitter is much more serious than her alcohol addiction. If serious help is needed anywhere it’s here.
I wasn’t around these threads at the time of DKL but recall Fraus saying even on live tv she could be seen on her phone. Could you imagine her not doing that at an AA meeting?
i imagine as soon as it isn’t her chance to speak she’s having a quick flick.
it’s telling that when she went to Venice and Dordrecht she wasn’t on her phone. I assume Harold must have politely asked her to give it a bleeping rest.
genuine, no sarcasm intended, question here: is there anywhere similar to AA/NA for people who have social media addictions? I think she needs help for this. Genuinely.

I think there is specialist help for this, yes. Unfortunately Jack seems to have so many issues, it must be like chicken/egg for a proper therapist. Can you imagine her having to listen to some home truths and then just sneering "well I've got xxx followers on Twitter pal, so I must be doing something right!"

I would be very surprised if any of her Patrons were only giving £1 a month. You just wouldn't bother signing up would you, if you only could afford or wanted to give that.

£1 is not even one of the default option. Psychologically, the majority of her backers will not have visited her Patreon, ignored all of the different tiers and thought “A quid. That’s what I’m giving Jack. Go me.”

It’s just not plausible at all.

Exactly what I thought earlier. She can have a tit fit over 2p on a tin of beans when it’s Asda, but when it’s 2.4k per month in her pocket it‘s suddenly whistling and ‘that’s nothing’.

I think Jack would need an exceptionally talented therapist. I strongly suspect she's astute enough to parrot what someone making progress should be saying. She's lying to herself as much as anyone else. All her AA speak rings hollow- it's just someone parroting what they think someone who had completed and fully understood a step would say.
