I've just watched a lawyer react to the Depp/Heard defamation case (as Amber said it was difficult to prove on work not yet received or something) and thought it would be useful to keep track of things that have still happened despite the alleged libel:
No loss of an award for campaigner of the year
An increase in twitter followers in the thousands
Increase in Patreons
A planned Think in talk went ahead
No loss of a BBC interview at a local Foodbank (as well as a congratulatory tweet from that FB)
No known loss of blue ticker support
No loss of support from the ONS for the Vimes Boot Index

No-one should feel bad about whichever class they happen to be born into. I whole heartedly agree with a wise Frau who said earlier that Jack's pov play is taking space from actual working class women, who are indeed some of the most marginalised voices in the country. And as a genuine povva, I find her performance of "working class" ludicrous and offensive. I wouldn't care if she said she was middle class and wished to use her experience and privilege her help others, even if her efforts were misguided and sloppy. But no, she's the poorest of the poor, and poors don't mind eating tit, apparently.I have only made it through half of the Tortoise interview. The cringe is strong!
I guess I feel a bit weird about the whole class discussion! My dad went to grammar school and then university, but in the 70s when apparently only the top percent of the country went because it was paid through grants. He worked his way up in his industry and was earning about 100K by the time he retired. My mum was a nurse like Jack’s mum. We didn’t live a flash life by any means though! He saved a lot of money so he can help my brother and I if we need it and doesn’t have to worry about money himself. No property portfolio though! Even though I don’t like asking for anything. But he worked 12 to 14 hour days and has never been a nurturing parent so money is not everything.
Back on topic! I like Jamie Oliver especially as he annoys Jack!I do think that he needs to read the room though. Is childhood obesity a huge issue when people don’t have enough money to heat their homes and eat?

Jack gets criticised because despite being thoroughly, unequivocally middle class in every possible way, she fakes being working class, uses it as part of her grift, makes a mockery of poverty and talks over and in place of actual working class or impoverished people. She can also barely conceal her and her family’s snobbery, she’s like a comedy caricature of a middle class person.
I feel like there should be a section in the wiki for Spicy libel observations. Like to make the judge’s job easier.
