Babe, same xTraditional working class guv. Despite having a mortgage since 2003
Jack thinks she's the wokest of the woke and most oppressed person ever, plus the amount of time she spends on twitter there's no way she wouldn't be aware of alt text.On point one I would have defended anyone else as I had no idea alt text is a thing. People can’t be expected to know everything. But then I remembered Jack thinks she does know everything and orchestrated that horrendous pile on earlier so no sympathy from me.
Established middle class. Not surprised.Roll up roll up and have a go!
I’m apparently established middle class which was a shocker. I thought I was working class.

Same, started out WC and then joined the giddy heights of the lower middle classes. Hurrah for social mobility.Apparently I’m technical middle class. I’ve always thought of myself as lower middle class.
There's a lot of nuances to the British class system, and it doesn't always correspond to financial status either.Jack thinks she's the wokest of the woke and most oppressed person ever, plus the amount of time she spends on twitter there's no way she wouldn't be aware of alt text.

But I do find class a bit of a tricky thing - I class my background as middle class but poor - holey shoes in school, leaking bedroom ceiling and no central heating poor. People meet me and think I'm posh and are shocked that the only time I went abroad as a child was on the occasional booze/cigarette cruise to France and we never went further than Calais!
Well yes, I am established working class but I definitely identify as Elite. There's a lot of nuances to the British class system, and it doesn't always correspond to financial status either.
And the thing is she’s sitting looking at her two phones with her six chins watching these utter cunts say awful things to this woman likeI’d be genuinely embarrassed to have such smug, patronising, self righteous dickheads defending me. I guess it suits though. I don’t think I can read anymore, it’s so depressing that she just keeps getting away with being so so vile.
Babe, same xI’m established middle class lol. To be fair I can’t really argue with hit because my household income is pretty decent. I come from a working class background and have done well for myself. I earn twice what Mr G does and he has come from a very middle class upbringing.
Her chat with Harold really doesn't count as a "group"Still tittering to myself that relatively unknown slop cook Jack Monroe is in an industry WhatsApp group that DOESN’T contain globally known trained CHEF Jamie Oliver. Ok duck.
Lawd I wish it was 70% at my Uni for a First, I could have slept walk that percentage. STEM is (generally, I think) held to a much higher standard. Which is why her Big Maffs and Stats Twatters make me so angry, she is so far from being able to accurately interpret even the most basic data.this this this this!!! I think honorary doctorates are great and can offer great recognition to some, especially legit campaigners (James Timspon got one recently!) but as someone doing in the final stages of a phD, while working, in a topic that I feel pretty specialised in, it's SO galling seeing her parade hers around.
She'd flop at an OU degree, their marking standards are SO high - they mark harsher than a lot of traditional uni's and I'm (90% sure, or at least it was when my mum got hers) you have to get 85% overall for a first, not 70% like at most. She'd collapse. Her academic boasts are pretty harmless, but they are SO annoying.
