Haven't been able to find Viennetta in Canada for years and years, someone ought to buy and eat a second one on my behalf.

I’ve just attempted that.

Everyone, do not attempt to explain vienettas on profile pics to anyone in your household. I got a big sigh, a big side eye and an “is this about that f****** person you are obsessed with again?”

ETA- I love the vienettas. We all know, we may be 242 threads behind Hinch, but we are 😘.

I just went round the corner for a Viennetta but they didn’t have any 🙁 Snickers ice creams were on offer so I grabbed those instead seeing as all foods are interchangeable.

@Cookiecookie That recipe you posted 😳 Do all of Jack’s recipe preambles basically say “This dish is terrible… awful. Nothing like the dish that I wanted to recreate. Don’t bother”.

She literally called this recipe an abomination. And she expects people to want to try it? Did anyone proof read this bleeping thing?
What apart from smol pixies? Eeerrrr that would be a no, the budget doesn’t run to proof readers/editors/recipe testers

@Into_the_tunnel to answer your sea cucumber question in the last thread: I had a scuba diver roommate who harvested some near our house. Rather than prepping them where he could toss the unwanted bits for the sea birds, he brought them back to our place and opened them up in the kitchen sink. It was a horrifying sight, and our garbage bin was rank until pick-up day. He was such a dipshit.

They didn't taste terrible sautéed in garlic butter, but it seemed like too much mess and effort for such a small amount of protein.
