This is the awful thing - MC Twitterati recommend her book as they think it’s what the poorsTM need, eg they’ve got no other choice but to eat tinned slop or starve. She’s one of one in the desperation category, her work doesn’t stand a chance within the crowded space of edible food.

If you tweak the question a bit and say I’m a busy mum who wants to keep costs down you’ll get recommended a plethora of decent books by people with talent cooking lovely food. We’re not just mean af laughing at her food for no good reason, it is all liquid. Even when she dusts it with broken up bits of solid you can see it is still a liquid.

And I know we assumed (well I did), that the jolly weekend in the countryside with in laws was SB's dad's family, but was it actually present OH's parents? If so she inserted herself quickly there.
