for those wondering why there’s not been an intervention: there probably have been. Several. But having a narc in the family is hard. They are terrifying when confronted. They spray abuse and damage indiscriminately like a machine gun. Sothe people around them lose the emotional strength for further confrontations and gradually withdraw. They need to protect themselves. And any children or vulnerable old people in the family.
