@colouredlines has already done the Lord's work on adding up all the Aldis, Lidls and Asdas in the land. As a customer, I don't care what market share a supermarket has. I care if there's one near me. Safe to say there is a higher chance of a 'disruptive little discounter' being near the average person in the UK than an Asda, given the numbers of actual stores.
But that's just me, a lone Tattler with a wooden calculator and a righteous amount of maths knowledge.
Ummm this truly is a discomfiting glimpse into her subconscious. She's on the news and has to be interrupted to be given a letter from Downing street. Presumably it had confirmation of her OBE in it.
The boots analogy originally came from The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists written in 1914 and Pratchet stole it nearly word for word from there. I get really annoyed when people talk about the quote.
“I restrict comments on my tweets because I need to protect my mental health and establish boundaries.
But at the same time I’m happy to tweet any old pish as long as I get some attention”
Oh my god she's genuinely nauseating with this self-congratulatory nonsense. About 2 people have said they can now get their Smart Price stuff online when they couldn't before. And as we know, it wasn't unavailable in her local Asda, she just couldn't be arsed going down there to check.
