Course back in the day Cyprus had mandatory army service for all men over the age of 18 or something...very difficult to spend any length of time in the Republic and dodge your service even until they joined the EU.

The Harvester salad bar borefest was the day before I got an account here although I'd been reading on and off for at least a few weeks beforehand. The reason I signed up was because I got fed up with not being able to see attachments. That fateful night was obviously the final straw for me, I just had to know the details of the salad bar. I assume. I don't remember it in granular detail so I can't recount every unbearable detail like Jack would.
