I’m sorry but selling your kids favourite toy is not worth the extra 50p or whatever. Absolutely not worth it. I would rather starve than sell anything highly valued by a child. Jack, you really are heartless.

I don’t have a human child but my furry child got a new dress today for a friends wedding. She looks bloody ADORABLE. We can’t attend the wedding so we will be outside waving her in and throwing confetti when she leaves

I thought the baby grand belonged to the owner of the flat she rented?
It did, but apparently the owner “gifted” it to her. Never in my life has anyone gifted me the things Jack has received.

No funny story though, she later moved into a rented flat that had a baby grand. Could have been embarrassing if she’d ended up with two LOL! I believe both were second hand and shabby in any case, before you accuse her of being middle class just coz she plays a bit o the old joanna

Oh “excuse me Lanie, “a bit skint” She had to sell the baby grand and her wedgewood if that’s not utter destitution then I don’t know what is
This 🥕
My favourite part about that story is that she sold her Denny crockery. I’m younger than my sister by quite a bit and I remember in the mid/late 1990’s Denby being on the wedding list. We weren’t well off at all, actually quite poor and it was maybe seen as a real status symbol. In the 20-25 years since the wedding I have never actually seen my sister use this crockery at all. Actually pointless.

Never in the history of the world has anybody been gifted half the stuff mackie has received, if her friends can gift designer goods, original artwork, grand pianos etc etc, why was she selling lightbulbs 💡????

where were they? Why could they not gift her some food?
make it make sense?

Your pup look amazing!!! (They're so cute they could be a soft toy)

I really am in awe of the brazenness of the lass today. She invited a bunch of people over to hawk anything they could carry off. It's like the part in a Christmas Carol where they all grab after Scrooge's possessions after he dies in the Christmas future.

She truly is writing poverty porn!!! She has no idea of what it means or is like to be working class, and the more she goes on the more she lies. She'd be perfect on that Circle show, brilliant viewing potential.

I thought she refused to sell items that were gifted, on strong moral principles 🤔

I think Jack truly believes we take this thread seriously. Like it’s a part of our lives. I come on here when I’m sitting on my own, relaxing as it’s funny and I like reading everyone’s comments.
Yup, I tattle while I’m in the bathroom (thanks for keeping me company guys!) or eating my lunch. And that’s only if my kids are letting me do those things alone. Side note, when did going to the bathroom become a team sport and how do I leave that team?
I love the hilarious cabal chat and the mostly kind and supportive nature, and how nice we are to each other. I ventured into a couple of other threads and it was a shock tbh, some of the tattle users on other threads seem like scary vipers and it made me appreciate here so much more. I like that differences of opinion are welcomed and there’s no “how dare you disagree with me, a VIP poster, the nerve” type stuff going on.

My bathroom doesn’t currently have a lock and my minis do not respect closed doors so I am resigned and waiting for them to learn some boundaries. I have also hidden in a cupboard eating biscuits and reading here so thanks guys.

That reads like someone VERY close to the not so small boy's dad!
And I believe every word of it!
Jack has NEVER lived in poverty.
I’ve thought for a while that SB has one capable parent who keeps his life running smoothly and it isnt Jack

Oof, my favourite club in my uni city finishes with 'Bad Touch' by The Bloodhound Gang ... with similar results re; drunk flirters. Cannot hear it without thinking of the horrors I've seen grinding on that sticky floor 😭
My uni town was obsessed with Fatman Scoop. bleeping hell

My weighted hula hoop is waving from the back of my shed!
So is Jack’s.

I reckon it's just something she's found whilst mooching around the flat/house/apartment/mansion and hastily posted the nearest thing she could find in order to hoover up the affiliate revenue, rather than being asked to promote it.

Wonder if the mug she's moved in with (possibly only for the duration of Easter - and the bit before lockdown restrictions ended) knows she's scouting out possibilities for further income from tit she doesn't own whilst lounging on her sofa with dirty clothes on?

Mahna Mahna was the choice at the place I worked out during my uni days. I freaking hate that song now!

He has to, Jack is too self centred to put him first. The story she tells in the old MN thread is so different to the one she tells now. I really hope SB has a strong support network around him to give him the stability happy kids need.

You are my sister? Seriously though yes Denby all over my wedding list. It was pretty expensive back then (£120?) for a dinner service (main and side plates) so yes a bit of an aspirational thing.
