First of all, big hugs about your health problems, that must have been terrifying at all points, and hope you are coping with any issues it brings up
Secondly, Jack seems part of the self diagnosis trend that SM created. The amount of people who proclaim to be sick with whatever they've read online this week, really infuriates me. No one calls them out on it because it's not a hill worth dying on considering how nasty they become (had experience of this). Self diagnosers are always so vocal, they run off googled symptoms, contradictory issues, and must always be the sickest person in the convo. It honestly makes me scream! Jack is part of that bandwagon. It's bloody insulting to those who genuinely have these problems.
Thank you for that lovely supportive post.
I agree with everything you have said r.e self diagnosis and your right it really is frustrating and very unfair for people who do have genuine medical problems/emergencies?
Its to do with some people (like jack) who use it like you said as a kind of one upmanship also defense mechanism so they can monopolise all the attention and also never be accountable for anything?
I agree its incredibly frustrating dealing with people like that (that most of us have come across at some point unfortunately ?) Especially online?.
It can be incredibly disorientating i think not to mention demoralising to get on the wrong side of one of these so called keyboard warriors always fighting the good fight ready to unleash their rage or their disposable army of flying monkeys?
Its a narc's favourite playground (sm) isn't it and their favourite pastime?
Picking apart the wrongs of others or society (perpetually offended victim) but never having the courage or the insight to acknowledge their own personality flaws or rather dubious behaviour?
I've said it before and i'll say it again as well because i'm also very wary about those online presences (especially instagrammers and bloggers) who make a big deal about trolls?
As far as i'm concerned whoever is going on about trolls is waving a big red flag because i think basically all they are doing is projecting their shadow (self) onto other people?
Its scary to me how justified some people feel in doing that (often with the support of others?) and it can make being online quite a inhospitalble if not downright hostile enviroment?
