Not to triangulate myself as I’m basically faceless, but do a job that people talk about on forums and social media a lot. Sometimes they’ll tag me directly into criticism (and other slightly mad things). I think it’s natural to want to bite back BUT you just don’t. Because you know it’s unprofessional, and inappropriate. So Instead I mute and laugh at the thought of people shouting at me on Twitter. I wouldn’t go looking on forums for criticism the way Jack does here, because it’s an act of self harm. But she literally can’t help herself, and it’s that behaviour, their OWN behaviour, which has the biggest impact. Because people see how unprofessional she is. Then plays the victim. It’s all self inflicted and self perpetuating.
The grapefruit lie is on par with the toaster lie. So unnecessary, I do think she can't help herself lying about every tiny thing.
Also the tar soap, generally it is used for skin conditions like psoriasis, I wonder if Jack is going for a subtle 'ickle smol pixie has a skin condition' implication.

Exactly what planet is jack living on?My other problem with stuff like homemade bath salts or whatever Jack is talking about is that it completely avoids the most costly thing for people experiencing poverty - time. Jack has all the time in the world because they do fuck all every day, but when you're working two jobs and have children to look after, you are not spending time making homemade hummus or bath bombs or whatever because your time is precious and buying them is so much cheaper when you take convenience and time into consideration.
