I rent and I've never felt even remotely bad about it, but honestly, the way Jack and her followers go on about it is starting to make me think I'm a hair's breadth from living in a cardboard box. It really, really shows how middle class you are when rented accommodation is seen as so awful.
She could get a working from home job though. After all she has experience as script editor, recipe tester, floor manager, educator, social media manager....

@Alansbigplate yes!!! I'm totally happy to go in to the library, on the bus, but... I'm in no way essential, and I'm grateful for the bus driver who'll take me there, the Greggs people where I'll get lunch etc. They are way more at risk and important in the...cogs. ..than my role.

I’m older than her, work harder than her (not that that says much LOL), and despite
working for Big Admin, earn less than her. But it doesn’t get to me.
I‘ve had times when it’s all got a bit much (who hasn’t), I swear I’ve got so much more that I could complain about than her (again, who hasn’t).
But honestly, I’ve got so much love in my life, friends, family, that sometimes feel like I’m the luckiest woman alive. It’s cheesy but I don’t care, it’s true.
Jack you might as well be a millionaire but I know that me, and all the other “ghouls” here have so much more perspective, empathy and humour than you’ll ever understand. Now duck off! X

Early doors work made us ask school for a key worker child’s place (before we all knew ^looks around at dumpster fire^ about all this) and later in the year I emailed the head and apologised, I was so embarrassed!
