I don’t believe they sacked her because she was pregnant. I don’t know anything about employment law but as a Civil Service employee, I’m aware that public sector employers have to accommodate requests for flexible working...but that’s not always possible, you can’t have someone on permanent night shift or back shift just because JM has a kid.
And you would think that the life she has would help her get over it - we wouldn’t be here now if she’d continued working for them (mind you, I can only imagine how hellish an employee she would be and she does have a lot of ailments) and she has had some amazing opportunities (this stuff keeps me awake at night, I mean why her?!)

Another Jack story I find hard to believe. I've helped numerous people get their hours changed as a union rep. There's always a lot of back and forth and negotiation unless it's just a very small change. I'm in the third sector which mostly has better policies than the private sector but isn't as good as the public sector. I note the use of grapefruit.....a warning should be put in there for anyone on certain medications ( including SSRIs and Warfarin ) to avoid grapefruit as it interferes with metabolism of many drugs....surely Jack would be aware of this as she is on medication for her adhd?Prawn cocktail recipe...right next to her second picture.

Yes and I love plenty of black pepper to the extent that it's one of my lottery fantasies to open a restaurant where they leave the big pepper grinder on the table instead of the waiter allocating your ration.
