I strongly agree with your last sentence there, but until ADHD coaches are available on the NHS, in the same way that counselling is, it’s not the same. And I really wish it was, trust me!
I just think that’s why it’s a sore point when JM just casually mentions/advises that some people get ADHD coaching, when in reality, it’s (in my opinion/circumstance) really not affordable. I‘ve attached an example. I really hope I’m wrong @HotesTilaire ! x

ETA - I really don’t mean this post in a snarky way, Hotes, you’re so lovely, I just really hope there is some kind of affordable, additional support available out there for myself and the other ADHD fraus here.

An adhd coach.

Crikey. I'm shocked the boys and girls (50/50 gender in my son specialist school before anyone warblers!) don't have access to these. Never even bleeping hear of them.

Maybe it's where a paid professional says

"yes Jack you do have adhd, asd, bpd, etc etc"

And pats her on the head. Reassures her she is extremely disabled and tells her to duck off.

Jack can’t just say “Gi is nice” can she? No, she has to post a pic with herself in it, to prove she knows Gi “personally”. Jack is proficient at the art of Self-Inserting.
I once served drinks to the guy who played Carlos in Emmerdale. Does that mean I know him?!

Why does she keep misrepresenting herself and building expectations UP only for the actual 'thing' to come out and fall flat on it's Med arse? Everyone was expecting a total glamorous affair for the six inch heels dancing day top hat and sequins tale. What we got was her awkwardly schlepping around waving meatballs at poor MR. Now we've got her er, risqué, two bodysuit booby shot that was retouched to high heavens only for her to post another pic of her looking totally bloody normal in a beige sweater and jeans and a big ugly pair of trainers like she's about to head off for her second trip to Asda of the day

The house with the dark blue walls is definitely not her bungalow.
I didnt think it was, didnt seem the same style. The bungalow is lovely, but she hasnt decorated it nicely whereas that blue room is very styled. It was for a shoot, so probably just a hired house innit.

Hi all, sorry if this has been mentioned already (I'm simply not able to keep up with these threads) but looks like our Jack's heroic (-ly posturing) attempts at fighting am*zon may not be so effective after all:

As I said previously someone I knew was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and she had an ADHD coach through the Access to Work scheme which is run by the DWP who paid half and the employer paid half, they were a supportive employer. No it wasn’t NHS but she didn’t have to pay. I think it’s important to say as there are Fraus who have shared their story here and this could be an option for some.
ADHD coaches are just like any coach, a work coach, a life coach, but with ADHD knowledge. They help you put strategies in place that work for you, to stay organised and avoid getting overwhelmed and disorganized.
No I don’t think they’re available on the NHS but quite honestly where I am there no NHS adult ADHD assessment or support. It’s an actual NHS post code lottery to even get a diagnosis, let alone anything else.

She said she would be shooting elsewhere. It’s not her bungalow.

Wondering what to expect for Jack's christmas affair. Cheap wet ham? On the turn parsnips? Brussel sprouts blended with stuffing crumbs?

Or, more likely, a big shop from Ocado of fancy ready-for-the-oven things.

She sighed and rolled her eyes all through that podcast and has not mentioned it since. Even when she said she was watching IAC she never mentioned her but anything to get her name associated with her.
I hadn't seen this before - managed to last 8 minutes. I was overwhelmed by the joyous way she talks about motherhood and just couldn't take anymore.

She really had a way of manipulating the narrative which is quite impressive.
The whole bit in that podcast about having a poor childhood is just ridiculous. She was poor compared to her grammar school peers - she would have just been average at a "normal" school.

Does anyone here follow Gizzi Erskine on SM? I absolutely love her and her food.

I think that's who Jack is currently trying to be. The adhd / underwear shots etc etc

As much as she is being smarmy with her niceness at least she's being nice. I hate it when she is rude to her followers.

More of her being nice please, even if it's false. No one needs to be on the receiving end of her vicious tongue.

Watching the excrutiating deadpan, nasal Jack Monroe on Giovanna Fletcher’s ‘Happy Mum Happy Baby’ and felt impelled to point out that for 99% of parents having a child is NOT like having a dog that talks back. Or am I wrong, am I going crazy here?! Poor SB!

And also she bangs on about how her grammar school peers had lots of things like ponies and totally fails to mention that she too had thing - like ballet lessons. She also says that the didnt have holidays except caravans and the odd trip to NI; but didnt she tweet back in April (when she was being all Greek) about lemon trees and holidays in Cyprus?! She lies by ommission and she lies full stop.

I think it would be fair to say that Jack has a supportive employer.

They may only pay her the living wage for her 16 hour days, but for everything else they are extremely generous.
