listened to some of the new itgalz pod earlier.. I found Lindsay’s defensiveness in response to some of the comments Lauren made interesting e.g. Lauren said she realises that she was the common denominator in her toxic relationships / it’s not fair to offload on to friends about your partner following a break up and continue to get back with the partner. You can tell it touched a nerve with Lindsay and she clearly has zero insight into her own behaviour

Those X Gals on the discord scare me. You can't have any opinion that may consist of constructive criticism over there and when you do they tell you to "rattle off to Tattle Life". Well guess what I feel a hell of a lot more comfortable and welcome on this platform than that discord.

I’d say the “don’t speak about me in a bad light” caveat is to do with the handing over of the business to Lindsay. Jenny has every right not to have Lindsay use the platform she worked hard on for years as a mouthpiece to now slag off Jenny and rip into her whenever she likes. I’m sure she just wanted to lay down some conditions and ensure that she doesn’t now use it as a platform to trash her former cohost. It might not even have anything to do with the initial falling out

She has actually apologised to me in DMs. I accept it & I do feel a tad bad for the whole thing blowing up but then again I was only trying to stand up for what I believe in & try to make other people undsertand. I do hope shes learnt from this situation & will be more considerate & learn to own her mistakes.

I think it is mortifying that Lindsay just continued to do the pod by herself without rebranding itgalz as a podcast carried out by herself alone, like if she was in anyway organized she would have hired someone to create a new opening tune and a new logo instead of just putting a shitty cutout of Lauren’s face over Jenny’s (how childish btw) and inserting a voiceover of her own name over Jennys in the song??? it’s embarrassing the way she’s handling things really and she should really seek advice off a business mentor or advisor but she probably won’t

She has mentioned before that he doesn't condone how she lives and their relationship seems fraught. Considering the strong family dynamics, sisters relationship, her mam being on the pod. He'd be a guest I'd be really interested in hearing from.

I will miss the pods as they were ~mostly~ entertaining with the two of them doing it. I do think even if L is in the wrong she deserves some praise for trying to keep the pod going, wouldn’t it be worse if they both just left the pod high and dry and we had nothing? atleast if itgals/xgals fails L can say she tried but she probably would be better starting off on a clean slate as the pod won’t ever be the same - you can’t really rebrand and brand that’s already been successful, that’s like Nike rebranding into evening wear or something.
J clearly did a lot of the behind the scenes work for the pod, But I think in a way it’s what made the pod interesting, I think if J had her way they’d have their topic and just chat about that but Ls unprepared-ness kinda brought diversity to it as she’d take the topic and bring in related life stories which made it kinda relatable. But must of been very tiring for everything to be left to J all the time this was nearly proven by their statements. Any controversy that itgals previously had and they’d to make a statement it was written in more of the style as J posted, I imagine L would of had some input but J has better wording and can go more to the point. You can see this is probably one of the first solo statements L has had to post. She’s struggling to find proper terminology by saying things like ‘the other party’ etc. Regarding the pod where she’ll ‘clear her name’ and the timing of it I think she’s probably being smart (whether it was advised to her or thought of by herself) she is probably waiting for any behind the scenes legal matter to be settled before she says anything incase it doesn’t go in her favour - but saying that her waiting for subscriptions to start again is believable too but she’d want to be careful if that’s the case as their mightn’t be subscriptions left at this rate.
J is being smart as she knows her silence is killing L and won’t be long until L breaks and spills all. In a way I think their time to say has kind of expired don’t ye think? Seems to be dragging on ages now and regardless of what’s said everyone’s probably made their mind up of who their going to believe so will anyone truly care when we hear? I feel like it’ll be a huge anticlimax, IMO whenever I hear reasons of friendship breakups or even explain my own friendship breakups people are kind of like ?? Not talking over that??- normally because it’s more of a build up or things then something becomes too much and then it’s hard to explain all the build up to people, it’s mostly personal stuff so never really seems that bad to others I dunno does that even make sense ahaha

Jesus Christ, i know people were complaining that this thread was quite 'pro-jenny' but these examples of Lindsays attempt at PR are exactly the type of crash and burn people know would happen with Lindsay at the helm!

Right I have listened to the DMS podcast and I just can't get past the fact they got a 54 year old man on the X-Galz Pod. What the actual fuck were they going for. ''Heeeeyy X Galz! This is Dave Mc Savage! He's a true X Gal
" Did they really think the absolute youngest 18yr old demographic in their audience would want to listen to a 54 year old niche comedian talking about what porn he watches, how much he wanks and how he likes to receive blowjobs? Did DMS even understand the demographic he was being being broadcast to? Or did they just get him on because he was a mate of Lindsay's Dave and had some kind of notoriety? They were defo slightly self aware about how weird it was cuz they didn't even do a 'hey x gaaaalz!' intro, it was just 'hey Dave'. Why get someone on you're not going to even be yourself around?Also the end of the pod where DMS suggests him and Lindsay do some sketches together but then also says '......and... and you missus' to Jenny as an afterthought and it's so awkward. I physically can't handle the cringe.
I'm calling it now, I feel like DMS will make an appearance on Lindsay's rebranded itgalz on the edge live shows.

When the announced the split and most people sided with Jenny Lindsay got so annoyed because no one actually knew what happened (which to a certain degree is fair) but she's proven now that we were right to presume Jenny was the victim. Lindsay is so aggressive and can't take any criticism, like shes so quick to jump down the throats of paying fans who are just trying to help her improve can you imagine what she was like to work with

I started listening to MTGM to fill the void I did not think I’d like it but have to say it’s very very funny! Joanne is hilarious and vogue is actually way more down to earth and funny than I would have though
