Israel warns Gaza authorities it will ‘raid’ al-Shifa Hospital complex: Health ministry
Ashraf al-Qudra, the Palestinian health ministry spokesman in Gaza, said the Israelis contacted a Palestinian health official and said “they will raid the hospital in the coming minutes”.
“And they told us to inform everybody not to be near the windows,” al-Qudra said.

Al-Qudra told Al Jazeera that he informed the International Committee of the Red Cross of the Israeli warning that it will “raid” al-Shifa Hospital but the ministry has not yet received a response.
“The ICRC must take a stance to ensure the safety of all the patients inside the al-Shifa medical centre,” the spokesman said. He added that Israel did not say exactly how or why it would enter the hospital complex.
“The bombardment has not stopped for a moment. There’s shelling and heavy firing in the vicinity of the centre.”
The Israeli military has not yet commented on al-Qudra’s remarks.

Israeli army says carrying out ‘operation against Hamas in specific area’ of al-Shifa
In a series of posts on social media, Israel’s military said its operation was based on intelligence information and “operational” needs.
The army said its forces included medical teams and Arabic speakers who have been trained to prepare for what it described as a “complex and sensitive” environment.
Israel has accused Hamas of using al-Shifa Hospital as a base of operations – a claim that has been rejected by the Palestinian group.
Hamas on Tuesday also repeated its invitation to the United Nations to send independent investigators to Gaza hospitals to verify Israel’s “falsehoods”.

The occupation defence ministry informed the Palestinian ministry of health in the Gaza Strip that they are starting to prepare for storming al-Shifa Hospital.
This step is considered to be very risky and dangerous as inside the hospital there are around 7,500 Palestinians including patients, doctors and displaced people.
They have informed them that they are going to storm the hospital, recommending that patients and everyone stay away from windows and doors and the gates of the hospital due to the Israeli special forces readiness to storm this medical complex.
They say that they are going to target some specific areas of al-Shifa hospital in order to destroy some Hamas military command centres inside this hospital.

They’re bullies plain and simple they obviously planted evidence to cover themselves somewhat with American complicity because they’ve made it too obvious. There is no need to storm a hospital full of medical professionals and patients the hospitals have confirmed a few times that they were happy for the UN to enter and confirm that there is nothing there.
They clearly don’t trust the Israelis and who can blame them after all the fake propaganda and lies.
Alternatively they could have gone in with a small task force nicely with the cooperation of staff and looked around. They’re despicable I’m absolutely sick of them at this point.
Al-Shifa doctor says Israeli tanks, bulldozers on hospital campus
Mokhallalati, a doctor at al-Shifa, said Israeli forces are inside the al-Shifa complex but information remains scarce.
“We saw the tanks and the bulldozers on the centre’s campus,” Mokhallalati said.
He said he inspected the main building above the emergency room, and Israeli forces do not appear to have entered it. But he added that he does not know the state of other buildings that are also housing patients and displaced people.
“The firing is still heavy, and we are hearing explosions everywhere,” Mokhallalati told Al Jazeera.

I think it's been mentioned a few times.
Israel wants all of Palestinian land and to develop the resources.
US and other countries may be supporting them as they may benefit from those resources if sold.
Do they remove Israelis off land if the Israel government wants it.
Well Netanyahu has defo flicked Biden the bird because Biden has only just said that hospitals must be protected and now this.

I think while Netanyahu has gone further with the one-state solution than the US would like due to the optics for them, he's not stupid enough to take actions the US won't forgive.
Aside from the financial side of US support for Israel's military, Israel for all her military power is a sitting duck if war is declared by the countries around her and the US isn't willing to join the fray.
Make no mistake, this has US backing, though it may be more reluctant than usual.
Yes I also think the US is complicit it’s very convenient that they found proof that they can’t share about a command centre under Al Shifa the day before the Israelis stormed the hospital, I mean they’re not even shy anymore the rule book has been ripped up and in the bin at this point.
I never want the Americans to take the moral high ground ever again the same goes for the other impotent leaders including the UK. The bottom line is none of them has the moral fortitude or balls to stand up for what’s right and they’re no better than terrorists themselves with the blood of innocent children on their hands.

Listened to Jeremy Bowen on radio 4 while doing the school run.
It was quite interesting. He says Israel believe they have the diplomatic backing for one or two more weeks of this. He says they are concerned about the hardening tone from allies.
He said the IDF don't need to bring in incubators as Al Shifa has enough, it just has no fuel to run them. IDF say Hamas should use its fuel reserves to run the incubators.
Can you imagine if they did that? Surely then the IDF would say that this was more evidence that Al Shifa was a Hamas command centre!
I could hardly sleep last night worrying about the people in Al Shifa.

I distinctly remember the media frenzy ( rightly so) when a stray missile hit the hospital, yet nothing for those targeting hospitals

You can see the doubling down of the media but they’re still being restricted in condemning Israeli actions.
this might explain why they're so certain about it .. (kinda convenient for them to omit that little fact so they could find any excuse to kill more civilians and 'mow the grass') .
and why is there no admittance now for reporters or a third party neutral organisation???
israel create the 'problem' so they can use it as a mechanism/ excuse to kill innocent civilians, and then they say 'oops' or 'we are investigating this' when it's all too late and the truth comes out, with absolutely no repercussions. They're absolutely vile.
not only that, but journo's in the hospital recently said there was nothing but patients, medics, porters and kids there.
