They also should pay a bit more attention: because child abuse is not necessary for this to apply (although there is enough evidence to get her for emotional abuse on them too), spousal abuse is equivalent. Ironically enough this is something many womens rights activist try to enforce everywhere, but it's of course inconvenient in this specific case, eh?
