Hubby and I watching the updates on Talktv and the transcript of his statement is just ridiculous, we both looked at each other and just said "waagh"
So anything he raises that was reprted on him before 1998 can be discarded because he didn't have a phone to be hacked until then.
I feel like people want him to win because hacking is awful. Unfortunately this poster boy was the wrong one.

Hiring a private investigator is not illegal, neither is taking photos in public.
If the investigator hacks phones that is illegal.
Given the triviality of these stories (which could have been made up) I don’t think they are proving that happened.

Rafe says its up to H to prove he was hacked. Sources of info about him could have come from others including those close to him. Bev Turner asked if those sources would have to be revealed and Rafe said no, H has to prove it.

Even if he was hacked doesn't he have to prove he was distressed by the newspaper articles at the time?
Isn't that what the trial is for? For him to be compensated for distress caused? It's not a criminal trial to prosecute the newspaper.

So far he does not really seem to be proving his case that he was hacked
- he cannot remember some articles that he claims "distressed" him
- he din't have a mobile at the time he claims it was hacked
- he has admitted a grudge against the press that predates the articles
- much of the information was already in the public domain - some of it provided by Diana
- he seems to suggest that that every article he didn't like must have been obtained by illegal means
- trying to draw inference but without evidence
Except he wouldn’t know if she was or wasn’t paranoid, William was her confident and Harry was a child.
Awful as it's obvious that his parents, for all their faults, love him. He must know that.
