I have said this before about Diana.

H&M were in NO PHYSICAL THREAT from anyone with a camera.

If their driver had driven to the speed limit or slowed down to stay safe then there would have been no risks and no pictures through the tinted windows or some crappy low quality pictures the paps couldn't sell. If the driver decided (or was told) to drive dangerously in a highly populated area or to speed way beyond the speed limit in a massively populated area then that is on the driver and those who instructed them.

They could have gone into any hotel/restaurant on the way and got rid of the paps by going out the back.

They chose to get into a cab, highly visible with clear windows. Their driver seems to have driven like a (normal) cabbie. He did not endanger anyone from the short clips we have seen.

This is on them and their security team.

It sounds like they wanted something akin to a presidential calvacade, or the Gold Coach coronation treatment…streets blocked, traffic stopped, lights ignored so they could have the dominant right of way. If that is even hinted at, they will look even more like the pompous fools than they look already. They wanted the RF coronation treatment in NYC!!!!
I don’t think they were best pleased when, on arrival, their limo had to wait for two leisurely cyclists to pass before turning in. Perhaps the closing of streets and causing a fuss is because 2 bods on 2 wheels screwed their securiddy image?

Lady Megbeth needs something even huger to claw still more clout, I’m thinking miscarriage, suicide attempt, eating disorder, fake kidnapping, something with explosions, all on the same day, really packing it all in and giving WME something to chew on!

I’m watching GMB. They’ve just interviewed Paul Burrell and he has dismissed what has happened but the other guy who seems to have been dug out of the 1970s, is laughable in the way he said ‘we are lucky no one was killed’.
Don’t these programs have to dig out a negative and a positive response so not to look biased

And the back pedalling begins ….. from the BBC’s News web site ……

Prince Harry and Meghan’s statement had never claimed there was a high-speed chase. It spoke of “relentless pursuit” for more than two hours.

Haven’t seen their statement but Scoobie Doo, their mouthpiece, said there was a high speed chase …… will he get his hands smacked for reporting this or is it finally his time to be Markled?

But the police said that they were back at their "residence" within 20 minutes

If they'd been believed:
  • Cops would have lost their jobs
  • Taxi driver(s) would have lost their jobs
  • New York's reputation would have taken a hit
  • Tourists would think twice about visiting having a knock on effect on the economy

Not to mention the effect on the royal family. How many lives is Megahertz going to try and destroy just to massage her ego?

Given that Ginge has repeatedly complained about the costs of their ‘securiddy’, why would he want to reimburse the UK tax payer for police protection? Even assuming the Met police suddenly became a for hire celebrity protection squad, does he really think they’d be cheaper than private security?
Why on earth would he want to be granted Met police protection that cost the same as private? Am I missing something?
Guns and access to the Royal rota.

This sounds and has all the makings of a “Jussie Smollette” tale.

OMG, go back to CA where you belong. You are both attention craving lunatics who created a story any NY'er could see through. Now everyone is starting to see the truth. Pathetic losers.

Why don't they have black cardboard in the car? They can pull over and put up the cardboard do the photographers can't see in and then they can call the police to clear away the photogs. Or just drive normal and wave.
