Haha we also stayed in Pod 51 aka the smallest rooms everrrr, she usually stays in the Yotel or the Hoxton so this must be a downgrade for her..I stayed in a hostel called pod 51 in new York. The room looks the same. The toilet situation was a pain with the glass door, but I was with a mate. Not very romantic for a new couple, but after so much Travelodge maybe no issue !

HahahahahahahahahahahaI’ve stayed there alone on the way through the city - it’s the cheapest non-rat infested hotel in New York - and I would never stay there with anyone else. It’s cramped and there is zero privacy. It’s right off Times Square though so ideal for her über basic trip - NO ONE LIKES TIMES SQUARE
