Sorry I’ve not been on the GLM threads for ages but is that a bleeping HELMET on her BABY? Have they taken up extreme sports as family since I’ve been gone

duck my bleeping life 😅😅😅

I reckon it's because they leave him in that playroom for longer than they should unattended and if he has a helmet on, they don't have to worry as much. It's not a flat head type of helmet. They're more structured. Other Insta Mums will be cracking up at this. It's beyond the realms of norm.

For context as well in case people didn’t see the link it’s not the type of helmet he would have been recommended to have by a healthcare professional or fitted to him to wear all day etc. It’s a one size, soft helmet she bought from Amazon that’s most likely made in China and then affiliate linked it for £££. All she has to do is cover up the death trap edges she has all over. No one is making light of anything that would be recommended a baby wears by a doctor

My guess is he has plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and she is trying to disguise it by saying he is banging his head all the time. Doesn’t exactly fit in with her image. Babies who wear these type of helmets for this condition usually have to wear them for 23 hours a day. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about and she could actually bring some awareness to her followers if she would be honest but her perfect image would be tarnished in Gemma’s eyes. I kind of felt the same when my Son was told he needed glasses but you have to put your feelings aside. It’s better to have some short term inconvenience than a lifetime of problems
Yes I think in that insta story of him playing with that ball slide toy his head does look a bit oddly shaped like he still favours one side when sleeping also his hair seems a bit more sparse on that side

coming to say why the Helmet unless there’s a reason
I have looked at her very boring 💤 recent vlogs... Finished a night shift and needed content to help me drop off to sleep 🤣... Can't find Noah wearing the mentioned helmet? Any fellow tattlers have pics please?

I literally came on the say the same thing…I hate to talk about a baby but he has an oddly shaped head it’s like elongated at the back? I got a feeling the helmet is to help correct this maybe? 🤷🏻‍♀️

On her stories today i thought the same. His head looks oddly shaped yes, but I dont like to talk of someone’s baby like that. However she chooses to put her child out there publicly and tell us he has a helmet for safety reasons. So yeah, we speculate.

It wasn’t a reshaping helmet from a specialist it was literally just a foam one from Amazon

It is literally designed to act as a buffer between head and hard stuff.
🙃
Interested to see egg shaped head though.

I only noticed when on the video it showed his profile instead of his face straight on and it reminded me of my baby at like a month old when she favoured one side when sleeping and they get a flatter side to their head which makes it look elongated and the face a bit warped. We did physio and lots of tummy time and turned her her in her sleep until she just did it herself and it eventually went away (apologies for boring personal story). His head obviously still leans to one side and if it’s causing a flat spot how come she hasn’t done anything about it? It’s not a criticism of him I think he’s really cute but why hasn’t Gemma done anything about this developmental thing?

Well she's shoved him in his own room already like 2 months ago. Surely you'd want to keep an eye on it. You guys pointed that out about him ages ago as well.

who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️. I thought she’d mentioned something about his head leaning a while ago and speaking to the HV about it but I might have just imagined that? I just don’t get how it’s still like that at 8 months. I feel like she’s really disconnected from having her baby like it was a tick list thing and now she feels like she’s done it & time to move on she just seems a bit over it whenever she films with him and it’s a bit forced but empty at the same time. Either that or she’s stuck in a massive rut & doesn’t know how to get back to who she was now she’s a mum
