Newcastle are my team and I’m gutted to hear Andy Carroll is that way about donating money. I wouldn’t call him our biggest player though...and I thought he was on a pay as you play deal too!

I feel comfort in knowing the Longstaff brothers, Isaac Hayden, and I’m guessing Saint Maximin are in that 10% of actually lovely people - everytime I’ve seen them they’re always smiling especially at charity things.
Sorry I just meant senior as in age and he is a bit of an authority figure on and off the pitch! The Longstaff brothers have apparently started getting influenced a little bit by the other players poor attitudes which I’d imagine is only natural so they’ve had a bit more of an eye roll or grumble but still decent lads. They come from a lovely family, we don’t live too far from their parents and they are such lovely people, always very polite and well liked in the area. ASM is apparently always late so a lot of the training ground staff aren’t his biggest fan but other than that no real gossip! I have heard that a certain corner flag kicker actually sells his Corporate Box out to the highest bidder on a match day to make the money back rather than let his family use it!

Almiron is absolutley lovely though, adores his wife and even though he struggles with the language barrier always very polite and friendly and can’t stop smiling!

DH reckons Steven Taylor was the biggest sleaze he ever met but never settled down and just enjoyed the fact he could do what he liked with who he liked. I met Shay Given and his wife one year and was in awe of how stunning she was but apparently Given would cheat on her regularly with shot girls from town!! It’s rife, even my favourite Tim Krul! He married a girl who worked at the club and made no secret of the fact she was after a player and Krul was the only one who payed her any attention. I thought butter wouldn’t melt but no, he was at it too!!

Anyone got any goss on any Blackburn players? My O/H is a huge fan and we regularly go and watch them, we’ve met a few
a players and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how they’ve come across, even Bradley Dack who I thought would be the most arrogant man ever was really pleasant to fans

DH works at a premier league club and although I don’t have any gossip with regards to women/personal he is constantly infuriated at how lazy and rude 90% of the first team are. They are especially unwilling to do anything outside turning up to training/matches even when charity is involved- apparently it is like pulling teeth to get them to even show up! One very senior player in particular whinging and kicking up a fuss that some of his Christmas wage was being donated to the children’s ward of a local hospital!!
Which club is it lol? I want tea on these new age footballer for real cause most of them look rude as hell

It’s not Leicester. Our late owner Vichai, instilled a sense of community into the club and it’s players from day one.

Haha I don’t know if you’re joking here or not but that’s a different Steve Walsh, he who used to source our players. Ex-player Steve Walsh just looks like an older version of what he used to look like.
Haha I wasn’t joking! I googled to see what he looked like and that’s what I got! 😂😂😂😂 have you got a pic of the “real” Steve Walsh 😂😂 don’t trust google folks!!!

Hey! I'm new here and it's taken me forever to get up to speed but loved every second :coffee:

A very good friend of mine worked for a company who were involved in new beauty product launches. I have it under good authority that at one such launch, DB was caught with his pants down with a skinny, british fashionista.

Happy to name names but unsure how the rules work and I could do without getting sued as I've been furloughed 😂

Mo salah was paying for peoples petrol at sainsburys garage and I have to say it is nice to see footballers doing things not just for the publicity or because they have been forced to do something by the club

Love Mo, he's an amazing player, and so kind hearted. He's a close second to Virgil Van Dijk for me.

Maybe this is why this girl hasn’t gone to the police, because people automatically think she is doing it for money. Like someone said previously if it was the money she was after the first place she would be is his club or the press. Not posting it on a support group on Facebook.
I wasn’t going to ever post about this as I haven’t really spoken about this to anyone Apart from one or two people - out of pure embarrassment/shame.

I was sexually assaulted by a footballer when I was around 18. It was after a night out. Myself and my friend went back to a friends house (also a footballer). I’m not going into the details but I left with a ripped bra and underwear. I never mentioned it to my friend due to the sheer embarrassment.

I was also scared to go to the police Incase I was accused of lying due to his “status” or since people think it’s for money and the abuse I would get from him and no doubt his friends for the many of years after.

It’s so hard for women to report these attacks and it’s unacceptable. I really hope you are ok and have managed to overcome this and understand that it’s not your fault. You didn’t agree to a party with a sexual assault to finish. Women should be able to accept an invitation without the threat of an attack. Cunts the lot of them. Hopefully these players are blessed with daughters of their own and, as they grow into young women, their own memories of past behaviours, on how they treated women and attacks on women, torture them every day and night.

I’m ok 🙂 and I have definitely overcome it. I just wanted people to hear my story and to maybe understand why some people don’t want to just go to the police or speak up.

I totally agree. Women shouldn’t have to worry about going on a night out or even just socialising in general.

There’s a lot more I could say but I don’t want to totally out my self as a few people would be able to work out who I am from the details.

Im glad it’s not too much of an issue for you anymore. I remember back in the 90’s and working in a casino. My god the stories I could tell but won’t. It’s awful what women are subjected to it really is. The thing is we could handle it and deal with it so differently at this age but you’re frightened as duck when you're a teenager.
