Thanks. There is a small Chinese supermarket not far from me will look there first.
I don;t know about everywhere, but in a lot of specialist shops like that (near me at least) you can actually ask them to order stuff as they can do it in bulk and something like chilli oil is a pretty standard thing they can sell

Does anyone else find this a bit disturbing?
I am not at all convinced, personally, that saying
'This is a million miles from “fat shaming.. it is up to each person to decide for themselves whether they are too heavy for their own health and happiness.'magically guarantees that it won't be at all triggering.

That looks useful 👍 I am wearing cotton masks and washing regularly, it’s the elastic giving me sore ears. And hand washing sanitizer setting my eczema off
I’ve heard using a little Vaseline behind your ears where the elastic goes can sometimes help?

My friend has a Devon Rex, the only animal I've ever disliked in my life. Horrible, bitey, spiteful thing. Her SIL has two and they are very sweet and normal. I think my mate just got unlucky, although I must say the cat has never bitten her 4 kids. Just the adults.

What is a spice bag?
Ireland's single greatest contribution to Asian fusion cuisine.

Chips
Chicken strips
Onions
Peppers
Chilis
Secret Spice Bag Seasoning (which I think has shitloads of salt, some 5 spice, dried chili and I bet MSG)

Any of the irish folks here will attest to how tasty this is

Glad to know he's got other fans . I think he's brilliant .
When he was killed off in the last series of LoD I kicked off and refused to watch any more.

Obviously I rewatched it because the new series would have been even more confusing without doing so.

He was unbelievable in The Virtues. One of best things on TV ever.

In terms of masks, we have got silk ones (I know, fancy!) for Mrs Tunnel who has to wear one teaching. They are easy to wash with mild detergent and don’t get hot in science labs and many children around.

@heretoreaditall2019 hope you’re feeling better today. Just catching up. You’re getting all up in my niche with the serial killer podcasts 😉 Besides those, I really enjoy Armchair Expert depending on who the guest is and Rob Beckett & Josh Widdicombe’s Lockdown Parenting. Sometimes I just search for someone I like and up pops any podcasts they’ve been on.

Also if this sort of thing interests you, then Slow Burn’s season on Bill Clinton’s presidency is very interesting.

Oh I know, I almost never talk about it with people because it has such a bad reputation (a lot of which is deserved. Scams everywhere).

To start, better to stick with a few coins so you can keep a closer eye on them. The market has been generally moving downward lately though, so it's an awkward time to get in...particularly if we do move into a full bear market, a lot of coins will be unlikely to survive it.

It's a really interesting world, as long as you stay rational. Euphoria is everywhere, fear is everywhere, and it's so important not to get caught up in either of them (this is why I went off for a holiday the other week - the market nosedived, and I felt overwhelmed by the reactions to it. It was definitely the right move!).
We already have our own wallets & subsequently constantly getting push notifications about X being up or down (literally just got one about BTC being up 5%), idk why I’m so much more nervous doing it for her. I think because it’s 20+ years rather than 3-5 for us that it feels harder to predict or there’s the opportunity to miss out on something amazing like you did!

My husband watches a lot of the YouTube content on it but I worry where they have such large followings/view counts they’re just hyping coins in the hope of influencing the market? Reddit can be quite good and there was a v good post on market caps to predict the max value of a coin, that’s what I need time to sit down with and figure out for these smaller/newer coins to see what we buy 10 versus 100 of. The choice and possibility is definitely paralysing which is why I’ve ummed and ahhed for weeks, when really timing is probably more important than any tiny incremental gains you’d get from trying to calculate a #strategy when they’ll be held over a 20 year period so I should just get a scoot on?!

Are yours in your own physical wallet? It’s interesting how that’ll pan out in the future, my husband is terrified of us getting burgled and the wallet being stolen and one day there will be the first big case where that happens. Or what happens when a couple divorce and they’ve got a sizeable sum in crypto, or one party has most of their savings in crypto, even with this China beef it’ll be interesting to see the ~drama~ it causes.

Money matters - Martin (from Money saving website) has a free financial education course. It’s designed for High school pupils but is very good. I think it’s on his website, sorry for the vagueness but it’s around if you search.

For Tattlers in London and Manchester. This is not sponsored but I thought I would report on my experience about Gorillas grocery delivery.

I downloaded the app, signed up and not long after got an email offering £10 off my first four orders, on a minimum £20 spend / delivery £1.80.

Prices and selection are generally very good, they have usual basics and special local items too.

My first order last week was £24 ish worth. It arrived in 9 minutes (!!) and included a welcome fruit bag with nice quality melon, avocado, banana, apple and satsuma, and a sturdy canvas Gorillas tote bag.

I told my other half how amazingly quick it was so we did another order when we had a chocolate craving and needed some immediate bits. This time it came in 8 minutes! And we got a free melon - lucky we love melons!
I just checked and they don’t deliver to my area. 😫

I will do once my husband gets home, I think you’re right tho 🤢

I’ve recently encountered a group of people that use “his” instead of “he’s” and it’s genuinely so hard to keep track of what’s being said. You’ve got to read it put loud in ur head
or when people write whole huge paragraphs without ANY punctuation, it is so hard to read
