A-ha, sounds like it might be it. The one I use is more a ‘standard’ size baking tray. They've all been electric ovens. I suspect it might be the tray, I use a small square brownie tin so it's quite deep.

If your daughter is someone who settles and makes friends easy I say go for it. The school run is a nightmare when it’s not local. We’re 3 miles away from my son’s school with no public or school transport options. Do the local kids all go to the same secondary though? Ours branch out all over the place.Have any of you fraus any experience of moving your kids school not at the ‘usual’ moving times? My daughter is in year 3 at a great school 2 miles away. Our local junior is just round the corner and also a great school and I’m considering the option of moving her - mainly for social reasons, so she can walk to school (with her friends eventually), so she has local friends she can knock for, get the bus to secondary with etc she’s happy at her school and has friends although not anyone super close. So I feel it would be an initial disruption but the long term benefits would outweigh that? Has anyone gone through this?
So sorry I’m only just catching up. The PTWM thread just went nuts and we all now what the Jack threads are like! Please don’t give me too hard a time in my appraisal...
I’m due mid April. I’m having other in person appointments as I’m a carrier of a dodgy gene which my child has a 50/50 chance of getting. It’s quite rare so don’t want to myself. Whilst it isn’t anything absolutely life transforming - it’s still something that will mean medication for little one’s whole life. For the most part I’m totally fine and am extremely lucky because I’m having a very “easy” pregnancy. I’ll just have the odd day of a pity party for one!
Thank you for being so lovely and helpful. X
We have NCT classes starting next week - all via zoom though. So I’m sure that’ll help. I feel a bit like I’ve sad fished. Some days are hard but it’s like that for everyone!
Love your man update. Actually welled with tears because it’s just so wholesome.
If you don’t mind me asking, does this mean they’ve classified you as high risk? If so, despite the terror of the name high risk it is nice during covid to have a bit of extra support through things tbh :/!
You’re doing well just to have the odd day of pity party! Although today’s news is amazing because you can potentially have a normal maternity which is looooovely!! x
Yeh, it'll be the depth (fnarr etc). I like a chunky brownie and always have to bake them for longer than the recipe. I lean into that tbh, and bake at a slightly lower temp for a lot longer, the lower temp helps not to cook the outer edges too much before the middle catches up.They've all been electric ovens. I suspect it might be the tray, I use a small square brownie tin so it's quite deep.
The floorI found the perfect flat in Central London if you are looking for a two bed. It’s on top of a Waitrose and is is near the Barbican too and markets. Errol Street EC1 via the Modern House. View attachment 451588View attachment 451590View attachment 451592
exactly what I was about to say, (if I had money lol) I would buy it just for that! The floor
Yes, it’s a rather nice floor. I’d certainly go and see it if I was looking for a 2 bed flat with 2 stories and communal outside space. Could also nip down regularly to take advantage of yellow stickered Waitrose products. The floor
with all the yellow sticker savings the flat would basically pay for itself!Yes, it’s a rather nice floor. I’d certainly go and see it if I was looking for a 2 bed flat with 2 stories and communal outside space. Could also nip down regularly to take advantage of yellow stickered Waitrose products.
Less upkeep then!Lovely floor, but I suspect it's not real parquet, I think it's vinyl - it looks very like Karndean AP01 Blond Oak Parquet in their Art Select range.
Edit: Ooh, that just made me VIP!

Love this, I find it so emotional. How will you celebrate?Just got back from getting jabbed. It's a funny thing to get emotional about, but it does feel like such a step forward.
Hope you're feeling ok! I felt terrible the day after mine but that subsided fairly quickly, worth it in the long run for one day of roughnessJust got back from getting jabbed. It's a funny thing to get emotional about, but it does feel like such a step forward.
Same, got jabbed on Saturday, felt hot (like PMS heat) the Saturday night, took some paracetamol, felt a bit lethargic Sunday but felt right as rain on Monday. My temperature never went up but it felt like it had. Worth it though.Hope you're feeling ok!
