As a parent who has had multiple teachers/therapists in my house for a number of years, during instruction time, I stayed out of it unless they were having real trouble or asked for our guidance. Anything else, waited until after the lesson was over and he was on a break or after his instruction time was complete. If I did make a short video during their session (to show him using his AAC or show him having fun), I NEVER showed the teacher or therapist, and I tried to be as discreet as possible as to not interrupt them. So, basically they are working on all the same stuff we are, but had to hire a teacher to do it? Cool. I had a good laugh when he said he asked the Wee's to move to FL! HELL NO! Why?? Because from all my research, MN has far better access to services than FL does. They would be stupid to give all that up. He got one thing right. It's going to be a LONG year! I'm here for it.

The last 2.5 years I did have to sit with my child during online live sessions with the teacher, intervention specialist, and therapists but THEY worked with my child. I kept my damn mouth shut. They're the experts. I was just present to make sure my child stayed in their seat & only talked if it was to prompt kiddo's attention or to help translate/clarify. My child is very hard to understand both phonetically and functionally until you really get to know them; even my own mom has trouble sometimes & I have to translate!

MN is well known to be one of the better states for autism services. FL sucks, especially in terms of waitlists. Atha should be the one looking into moving to MN, Hell, I've thought about it! Services in our state are pretty good but if I was in FL or TX I'd seriously look at moving for better services for my kids.

Day 2 of back to school went slightly better than day 1 for us. Lunch was "fine" today instead of "mediocre."

Typical you only saw 2 minutes of a 5 hour day lying ass bull tit. What he should have said was this my friends is a baby sitter to take Abbie away from the house so us hambeasts don’t have to listen to her. While doing such please teach her all the things we failed too like not running over people with a shopping cart and how to pour milk. We decided to be lazy and eat our way through 500k instead while Abbie rocked in a corner and tit herself( due to absolutely no fault of her own). We were just too lazy to consistently potty train her and well it’s just not Priscilla’s jam. But if you want grape jelly we have 57 pints in the pantry.
